Robert Williams

Summary

Robert Williams covered football and men’s basketball for the Daily Collegian at Penn State University before being named Sports Editor in 1986. After a stint at the Harrisburg (PA) Patriot News covering horse racing and baseball, he moved to Maine where he won multiple Maine Press Association awards, including Sports Story of the Year for an article on high school football tradition in a small mill town. Following two years as an academic writer crunching numbers at Temple University, he moved to Las Vegas to work in events and public relations and be closer to sports betting’s holy grail. He understands that the odds are against most sports bettors, but also knows that by wagering at average odds of at least +101, you only need to win 50 percent of your bets to make a profit.
