Free Soccer Picks and Predictions – European Leagues, Week Ending Sunday November 28
Prospector Sam is here with your free soccer picks for this weekend's European soccer action.
Well, the analysis was there guys, just not the outcome. That’s about all I can think to say after last weekend’s write ups looked great except for the end result when multiple teams decided they’d rather not do the bare minimum to get me over the finish line. It started with Celta Vigo, who I correctly predicted would shut out Levante only to score 0 themselves against one of the worst defenses in the League. Then we had Wolfsburg give up 2 goals to a team who hadn’t scored more than a goal in any game ALL SEASON and ended with a 2-2 draw. And, finally, the piece de resistance, Copenhagen took a 1-0 lead all the way to the 95th minute where they conceded a penalty and blew all of our chances at redemption and general happiness.
Frustration is part of the game, and I have no interest in making excuses about losing. A loss is a loss, whether it’s close or by a billion points. But I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that losses aren’t built the same in the frustration department, and this was one of the weekend’s that makes you want to buy a pinata so you can beat the living hell out of something without going to jail (and for the slight gratification of extra candy that certainly would have helped with my pain). But we move on to bigger and better things, and this week is another opportunity to grab some gold nuggets or whatever other valuable resource they have in continental Europe (probably just gold they took from somewhere else, I don’t think they have much besides timber and lots of sheep).
Without further ado, this weekend’s picks! ⤵️

Free Bundesliga Picks For Week 13, 2021-22
Bayern vs. Arminia Bielefeld, Sat Nov 27, 12:30pm (ET)
I don’t mean to pick on Arminia, but I’m also still pissed at them from last week so I don’t mind picking on them at all. To put things simply, the visitors chose the wrong time to come to Munich. Sure, the odds were stacked against them regardless of timing, but after a week where the perennial German giants lost to Augsburg, you can bet your ass that they’re going to come into this game looking for an opportunity to beat the life out of some helpless opponent that’s punching way out of their weight class. So let’s go ahead and make a bet based on that assumption, and I like Bayern TT Over 3.5 here. The payout is +100 which is extremely low for this bet in most scenarios, but considering Bayern have scored 4+ goals in 10 of their matches this season (most against better clubs) I think this number is extremely doable. Look for Bayern to come out firing early and crush Arminia like a bug.
⛏️ PICK: Bayern team total OVER 3.5 (+100)
Free Ligue 1 Picks For Week 15, 2021-22
Marseille vs. Troyes, Sun Nov 28, 2:45pm (ET)
One of the biggest things I struggle with when making these picks is that I want to provide bets that are interesting and valuable (i.e. not the average thing some random handicapper will pick because it’s a heavy favorite like most of them do with soccer). By emphasizing that, I end up putting riskier picks on here which lowers the percentage of hitting and pass up on some bets with good value because they aren’t “clever.” Well, I’m going to pull back on that a bit and try to add in some more comfortable winners that I think pay out above their cost, because it’s both smart and makes me look better (im vain, what can I say). Here, grab Marseille to win. The payout is relatively small at just -230, but I don’t see very many scenarios aside from a red card where they don’t beat Troyes at home. The visitors are in 17th place with a -9 GD through 14 games and have lost every match against the bigger clubs in France so far. This isn’t the best Marseille team we’ve seen in recent years and they’ve struggled to score as of late, but the disparity in talent here is huge and I think they manage this one comfortably at Stade Velodrome. Use this as a strong bankroll builder to fund some of your other nefarious activities (hopefully just gambling, but I don’t judge).
⛏️ PICK: Marseille moneyline (-230)
Free Serie A Picks For Week 14, 2021-22
Juventus vs. Atalanta, Sat Nov 27, 12:00pm (ET)
Goals, Goals, Goals (sung to the tune of Motley Crue, but with soccer in stead of sex). Atalanta play a swashbuckling (such a great fucking word, I need to use it more often) style of soccer that produces lots of chances and, usually, a few goals as well. The visitors have scored 27 in 13 matches in Serie A while conceding 17, which is about all you need to know about them for this bet. Juventus aren’t quite as psychotic and are struggling this season for a club who usually sits atop the league table, but they’re loaded with talent and have the class to finish chances, which is the concern you have when you bet on lower end teams to hit overs. At -152 the payout isn’t crazy, but Serie A plays end to end soccer these days and each of these teams will be pushing for a win to try to climb their way up the table. I like this to get over the line comfortably (it’s covered in 8 of Atalanta’s last 9 matches) and I think it’s a high value bet despite the negative odds.
⛏️ PICK: Total goals OVER 2.5 (-152)
Free Swiss Super League Picks For Week 15, 2021-22
Luzern vs. Basel, Sun Nov 28, 10:30am (ET)
These odds are so crazy, I think I may be missing something. Seriously. This isn’t even an “its a trap” type of line, it’s an “I have no idea what the fuck is going on and somebody might have fucked up” type of line. Basel are undoubtedly the class of Switzerland along with Young Boys, and, while they only sit second right now, they’re still a very strong side and pulling 2 points per game on the year in the Super League. What about Luzern, you ask, partially because you’ve almost certainly never heard of them? Dead last with just a single win through 14 games. And, based on that gap in performance and talent you would expect the line to be somewhere in the -200 to -300 range, but here it’s exactly even for Basel to win. That is OUTLANDISH, and you know the use of that term means something coming from a man pretending to be a cartoon miner. Basel have struggled a bit and have certainly not been in the best form lately, but they should just have too much talent for Luzern to handle even on the road. Take Basel and bet it hard.
⛏️ PICK: Basel moneyline (+100)
