2022 UEFA Champions League Final
Liverpool vs. Real Madrid
Saturday, May 28 2022, 3PM ET
Liverpool finished second to Manchester City by a point in the English Premier League table, but won the Carabo and FA Cups and seeks an impressive Trifecta
Real Madrid romped to Spain’s La Liga championship, accumulating a goal-differential of +49.
Handicappers must consider that the English Premier League was much stronger top to bottom than La Liga this season, so Real Madrid’s numbers are a bit inflated.
Real Madrid's Karim Benzema is the most prolific scorer in the world as of late, accumulating 7 goals in the previous four Champions League matches against Premier League teams Chelsea and Manchester City.
His club needed a dramatic, late-game comeback against Manchester City in the semifinals as Real Madrid advanced with a 6-5 aggregate win.
Liverpool disposed of Villareal in the semifinals by an aggregate 5-2. Jurgen Klopp’s lads are now undefeated in their last 18 matches and pose a deeper, more well-rounded threat than any of RM’s opponents this year.

Best Bet: Liverpool to win (+110)
Bet this number sooner rather than later as it has dropped from +120 earlier in the week and is now +100 at some books in Vegas. Real Madrid’s impressive run comes to an end.
Liverpool simply has too much talent, depth, and discipline. Liverpool’s speed and quickness with the likes of Mo Salah and Luis Diaz will be too much to contain. Expect Liverpool to score at least one first-half goal, and then add a goal or two in the second half as Real Madrid is forced to open up the game.
Given the expected quick start, a first-half play on Liverpool (PK -165) is also recommended.
Best Prop Bet: Liverpool corner handicap (-2.5)
Liverpool is also available on the corner match bet market at roughly -230, but given its expected territorial and attacking advantage, there is much better value in taking Liverpool -2.5 corners if your book offers it. In its last 10 matches, Liverpool has enjoyed a 73-22 advantage in corners. Real Madrid has been out-cornered 60-43 in the same number of matches. Granted, Liverpool has played more meaningful matches in that time frame so has needed to press and play regulars more consistently. Still, the domination in this statistic shows just how much of an attacking mentality these lads have and it should pay off here.

2022 Champions League Final In-Play Strategies
When it comes to the proliferation of legalized sports betting and in-play wagering in the United States, no sport has benefitted more than soccer (sorry for the terminology for all you fans of the world’s greatest team sport reading from abroad).
Why? Because there are so many major events that dramatically impact in-play soccer props and savvy bettors can often react to them better than the traders. I expect this game to open up around the midway point of the first half.
Therefore, if your book offers in-play props, hop on the OVER 9.5 corners as soon as it goes to plus money.
Also, if the game is still scoreless 20 minutes in, play FIRST HALF OVER .5.(-280) You should get a price in the vicinity of +120.
Enjoy the match and let’s grab the cash!
I predict the score this Saturday will be 3 to 1. Not sure who the winner will be tho that’s just my score prediction. #Nostradamus ;)
