Who Will Win The 2021 Open Championship? Golf Preview, Picks, Odds and Best Bets

The final golf major of the year has arrived, with the 2021 Open Championship at Royal St. George's, Kent. As with every big event on the golf schedule, we've got three outright winner picks, ranging from a favorite to some mega value!

We've gone through this week's Open Championship and found three guys that we like to win this golf tournament, varying from one of the top favorites, who still represents good value, down to some nice value on a couple of stars that look set for big weeks at longer odds! We also show you the best sportsbook promos to play.

After successfully picking Garrick Higgo to win the Palmetto Championship at 40/1 recently, we're confident of keeping the run going!

With crowds returning and almost every big name out there, we're set for an awesome four days of golf ... and betting! As we do each and every tournament, we provide you with our best golf picks for outright winner, as well as some in-play picks throughout.

2021 Open Championship Best Free Pick ๐Ÿ†

Jon Rahm +850 (17/2)
Bet $10, win $85 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Sometimes we come into a major and there's a very short favorite and they're easy to fade.

This week though, Rahm's odds are well and truly justified, with the Spaniard clearly the most inform player in the world right now.

Having of course won the most recent major with the US Open, he would be joining rarified air by doubling down. But with that win at Torrey Pines being the one to break his duck, there's not much holding him back right now.

Sign up to get free picks, previews and more.

Rahm has one of the great all-round games in golf and having put together a 16-under (7th) performance at last week's Scottish Open, the favorite is also our top betting pick for the 2021 Open Championship.

BONUS PICK

Jordan Spieth (+2200)

The other guy out of the top six or seven favorites that I like this week is Jordan Spieth. Spieth has been practically back to his best in 2021 and loves the Open Championship and playing links courses. At 22/1, he's definitely worth a bet this week!

2021 Open Championship Value Bet ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Viktor Hovland +3400 (34/1)
Bet $10, win $340 at DraftKings Sportsbook

The European flavor continues with our value bet this week, where Viktor Hovland sits at tasty odds to win his first major tournament.

Hovland is more than confident on the big stage and will be keen to get on the board with a major victory to match his friend, Collin Morikawa, who of course won the PGA Championship last year.

The 23-year-old Norwegian heads into the week in good form, having won on the European Tour just two weeks ago, taking out the BMW International Open ahead of Martin Kaymer.

BONUS PICK

Marc Leishman (+6000)

Leishman is a common pick here, and with his odds at 60/1 for a tournament on a links course, he was never not featuring in this article. The Aussie is yet to win a major but if he is to win one, you feel it'll either be The Masters or the Open Championship.

2021 Open Championship Dark Horse ๐Ÿ”ฎ

Robert MacIntyre +8000 (80/1)
Bet $10, win $800 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Three from three with European players this week thanks to Scottish youngster, Bobby MacIntyre.

Bobby Mac is one of the rare lefties on the Tour and has one of the best games to watch out of all the up-and-comers.

Four of the last six Open Championship winners have hailing from Europe, and it wouldn't be a shock to see MacIntyre continue that trend this week in conditions he will be extremely comfortable with.

BONUS PICK

Charley Hoffman (+20000)

Another guy we pick a lot in these articles, Charley Hoffman is playing the best golf of his career in 2021, and at 200/1, he is absolutely worth a flyer and should also be looked at for First Round Leader bets.
