Gunnar Henderson is still looking for his first home run of the 2025 season after hitting 37 last year.

Seemingly everyone's favorite MLB props to bet on is home runs - including some of us here at Dimers.

One of the most thrilling plays in sports, the crack of the bat, the flip and the trot around the bases bring an extra level of flair to an already exciting play, especially when you're betting on players to go yard with Dimers Best Home Run Bets.

We're a few weeks into the MLB season now and many players have picked up right where they left off - Aaron Judge is off to a wicked start and players like Pete Alonso, Kyle Schwarber and Shohei Ohtani are up there with the early season leaders.

However, not everyone has found their stride early - Vladimir Guerrero Jr. just knocked his first home run of the season and he put up a 30-piece last year, much to the dismay of his early-season bettors.

So, who's still looking for their first dinger of the 2025 season?

Let's break down players who hit at least 20, 25 and 30 home runs last season who are still looking for their first smack of the year.

30+ Home Runs in 2024

  • Gunnar Henderson (BAL)
    • 2024 total: 37

Now that Vladdy has gone yard, Gunnar Henderson is the lone player from last season who hit at least 30 home runs and has yet to go yard in 2025. He missed about a week's worth of games to start the year, so he should be due very soon.

Update: Gunnar gets his first home run a few hours after we publish this article!

25+ Home Runs in 2024

  • Mark Vientos (NYM)
    • 2024 total: 27
  • Giancarlo Stanton (NYY)
    • 2024 total: 27 (has not played in 2025)
  • Ezequiel Tovar (COL)
    • 2024 total: 26

Like Henderson, the Mets' Mark Vientos is hungry for his first dinger of the year and looked like he could be a key power contributor in this lineup but it hasn't panned out so far as he's hitting just .145 and slugging .214.

Update #2: Mark Vientos just went yard, too!

20+ Home Runs in 2024

  • Jurickson Profar (ATL)
    • 2024 total: 24
  • Paul DeJong (WSH)
    • 2024 total: 24
  • Joc Pederson (TEX)
    • 2024 total: 23
  • Zach Neto (LAA)
    • 2024 total: 23 (has not played in 2025)
  • Ryan Jeffers (MIN)
    • 2024 total: 21
  • Alec Burleson (STL)
    • 2024 total: 21
  • Bryan De La Cruz (ATL)
    • 2024 total: 21
