Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill, trade, NFL rumors, nfl betting, Week 5
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill.

Is Tyreek Hill on the trade block or is he just stirring up the pot with his latest tweet?

Amidst a tumultuous season for the Dolphins in which they've jumped out to a 1-3 start with starting QB Tua Tagovailoa on IR with a concussion, their speedy wide receiver set the internet a buzz this afternoon with a cryptic tweet

Tyreek Hill's Trade Tweet

There's always trade buzz around the NFL especially when teams with star players start off poorly, but in the past day, the attention has been on Raiders WR Davante Adams and his reported trade request.

Then, Tyreek Hill set things off with a single tweet that read "woke up to trade news exciting"

So, what he is referring to?

A trade involving Tyreek Hill himself? A Dolphins trade to acquire a startable QB after their failed backup experiments? Or is he just a fellow NFL player chiming in on the Davante Adams situation?

No matter what it is, the sports world is buzzing while we await some clarity to this wrench in the gears. Though a trade involving the most talented player on the Dolphins is unlikely, it's certainly causing a stir.

Will Tyreek Hill Score a TD this weekend? Hill's Projections vs. Patriots on Sunday

If the tweet amount to nothing at all, it'll be business as usual for Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins on Sunday vs. their AFC East rival, the New England Patriots.

Looking at the Dolphins vs. Patriots projections, Hill is predicted to perform as follows:

  • Tyreek Hill Receiving Yards: 61 yards
  • Tyreek Hill Anytime Touchdown Probability: 32.1%
  • Tyreek Hill First Touchdown Probability: 8.9%

You can see in the image above that our model finds value in Hill to score at some very appealing odds of +330 on DraftKings, with our fair price just +210. In fact, this was +370 this morning, and we saw Hill to score 2+ touchdowns at +5000, which we jumped on before it dropped to +3500.

It's a longshot bet, but our model says he should be only +2120 to score a pair of TDs on Sunday vs. the Patriots.

Dimers Pro users got this bet at +5000 before it moved to +3500 shortly after.
