5 NBA Win Totals Bets to Make Now!
Washington Wizards Over 24.5 Wins (-110) on FanDuel
The first team on our list may be the most surprising, but DimersBOT is a big fan of the Washington Wizards this year! The Wizards sneakily acquired former Warriors breakout star Jordan Poole, amidst the drama fallout between Poole and Golden State. While Poole didn't work out for the ex-NBA Champions, he is still a promising young player that could have a huge leap coming now that he is the offensive focal point of a new team.
Our model has the Wiz projected to finish with 31 wins on the season, easily exceeding their line of 24.5.
Miami Heat Over 45.5 Wins (-110) on FanDuel
Next up is the Miami Heat, and while they didn't land Damian Lillard, they still have all the makings of an Eastern Conference contender. Miami has been known for making deep runs in the playoffs, but their winning infrastructure also positions them for big success in the regular season as well. With Jimmy Butler more in touch with his emotional side, he will be out to prove Miami can contend with the best in the East, and while Lillard isn't in South Beach, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro are still getting better and better.
Our model has the Heat projected to finish with 49 wins on the season, easily exceeding their line of 45.5.
Denver Nuggets Over 53.5 Wins (-110) on FanDuel
Next we move to the current NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets. Nikola Jokic has made no mistake about it - he hasn't enjoyed his shortened summer now that he's a champion and has to return to his job. The problem for the rest of the NBA is that it doesn't matter how high or low Jokic's morale is - he is the best player in basketball and it isn't close. But it's not just Jokic - Denver was so successful in the postseason last year because of their role players, and they added more this year with a steal in the NBA Draft in Gonzaga's Julian Strawther. With Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon back alongside them, the Nuggets are deep and ready to win a bunch more games.
Our model has the Nuggets projected to finish with 56 wins on the season, easily exceeding their line of 53.5.
Los Angeles Lakers Over 47.5 Wins (-110) on FanDuel
Next up we move to Hollywood, where the Lakers return a loaded group highlighted by King James. Make no mistake - this line is dropping as LeBron is aging, but the thing is - LeBron has outlasted every other NBA veteran that the game has ever seen. We fully expect LeBron to keep operating at a superstar level, and with Anthony Davis alongside him and emerging talents like Austin Reaves and Max Christie, there is more to like this year with the Lakers than last season.
Our model has the Lakers projected to finish with 51 wins on the season, easily exceeding their line of 47.5.
Golden State Warriors Over 47.5 Wins (-110) on FanDuel
The final team on our list is another from California, it's Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors. While Jordan Poole is out, the Warriors doubled down on veteran talent by acquiring Chris Paul and Dario Saric. But it's not a total old shift - they retained Jonathan Kuminga who finally looks in line for his big breakout season. The Warriors will always be in contention as long as Curry is around, and they know they need a better regular season to position themselves for a favorable draw in the playoffs. We are buying.
Our model has the Warriors projected to finish with 52 wins on the season, easily exceeding their line of 47.5.
