Titans vs. Chiefs Odds and Betting Lines
Why The Titans Will Cover The Spread
Considering where the Titans are sitting statistically, it’d be no surprise if this spread climbs. But to their credit, they grind and ripped off five wins in a row after losing a pair of sloppy efforts out of the gate.
It’s no breaking news Derrick Henry stirs the drink for head coach Mike Vrabel. Henry has 166 carries and 755 yards through seven games — quarterbacks Ryan Tannehill and rookie Malik Willis have a combined 160 pass attempts — and it’s vital for the Titans to hang close early and not be forced to abandon the ground attack.

Why Chiefs Will Cover The Spread
Tennessee, ranked 25th in pass defense, will be hard-pressed to keep up with Patrick Mahomes and a unit averaging more than 400 yards and 31.8 points per game. Mahomes might be missing Tyreek Hill on some level, but Kansas City keeps on ticking with better balance.
Six different Chiefs have multiple touchdown receptions, led by Travis Kelce’s seven. If nothing else, head coach Andy Reid’s offense has become less predictable.
Why The Over Will Hit
Anytime there’s a game with Mahomes involved, there stands a good chance the total will be eclipsed. The Chiefs put up at least 40 points in three games so far, and 30 in another, and you never know which player is going to inflict the most damage. For example: Mecole Hardman with three touchdowns, including two rushing, at San Francisco in Week 7.
While Tennessee isn’t built to get involved in a track meet, it may not have much of a choice if the Chiefs come out firing as they often do.

Why The Under Will Hit
Oh Henry! Aside from the Titans defense bending but not fully breaking, it’ll solely be up to Henry and the offensive line to keep this game close and manageable for the visitors.
Tennessee winning the time of possession battle and not turning the ball over, which has been the case in most of its victories, will be crucial to keeping the total from blowing up.
Titans vs. Chiefs Prediction
Lean: Chiefs -12.5
It’s difficult enough for a visiting team at Arrowhead. Toss in the fact the Chiefs are coming off a bye and there’s no reason to believe the margin won’t be double digits unless Henry runs wild.
