Top MLB Betting Trends for Wednesday, July 19
1. Justin Turner (BOS) To Record an RBI
Frequency: 11 of last 13 games
Odds: +205
Whew, *whistles loudly* what a trend. JT is on fire right now, notching an RBI in all but two games in July for a grand total of 17 ribbies over his past 13 games. He's been batting second or third in the order behind Alex Verdugo, who's hitting at a .282 average with a fat on-base percentage of .35. That's a great guy to bat behind when we're looking to drive in a run. Turner's got his own batting average up to .290, the highest it's been all year, so there's little doubt he'll be making contact in this one. He'll face the A's Ken Waldichuk who sports a devilish 6.66 ERA, making this an easy choice for Trend #1.

2. Luis Robert (CHW) To Record a Hit
Frequency: 12 of last 14
Odds: -230
Luis Robert Jr. is an absolute stud. He put on a nice show at the HR Derby before falling in Round 2 and he's been having his own HR Derby this season. Batting .275 with 27 homers, tied for the third-most in the league, he's been nothing short of the lone bright spot for a disappointing White Sox team. He's strung together hit streaks of 4, 5 and 6 over the past two months and hasn't had back-to-back days without a hit since the first days of June. Lean on his star power and strong form and lock him in for our second trend of the day.
3. Jeimer Candelario (WSH) To Record a Hit
Frequency: 15 of last 17 games
Odds: -215
Won't you light my Candelario? The Nats' man has been an absolute rake as of late, picking up a hit in five of his last six games and 15 of his last 17. His last game without a knock was two games ago, and the last time he had two hitless games in a three-game span was on June 22. Candelario has been extremely consistent this year, hitting in the .260 range since mid-May. He'll face the Cubs' Kyle Hendricks' who's allowed 53 hits in 58 innings of work.
