Top MLB Betting Trends for Tuesday, July 4

1. Andrew Vaughn (CWS) to Record a Hit

Frequency: 12 of last 14 games
Odds: -250

The White Sox might be having an all-too-familiar disappointing season, but it's not through a lack of effort from some of their hitters, including Andrew Vaughn. The slugger was in amongst it again in his last game on Sunday night, recording a hit against the Athletics - his 12th in his last 14 games. He gets a matchup with Blue Jays pitcher Chris Bassit, a man who has has met in one previous career game, going 1-3 with two RBIs.

2. Luis Robert Jr (CWS) to Record a Hit

Frequency: 10 of last 11 games
Odds: -255

Another White Sox hitter in form, Luis Robert Jr. has cemented himself as one of the elite hitters this season. As we outlined in our home run parlay article, our model loves Robert Jr. in this spot due to what he can do against Chris Bassit's arsenal of pitches. His hit prop is a parlay piece for sure.

3. Michael Harris (ATL) to Record a Hit

Frequency: 15 of last 17
Odds: -260

You're know you're going pretty well as a team in the MLB when your best hitter on form bats in the No. 9 slot. Michael Harris has been on fire for the world-beating Braves over the past month, with hits in 15 of his last 17 games, including two home runs against the Guardians last night. In this streak of form there have been six multi-hit games, including games of four and five hits respectively. Unbelievable.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
