Top MLB Betting Trends for Tuesday, July 18

1. Mike Moustakas (LAA) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 6 of last 6 games
Odds: -135

The man they call Moose was at it again last night during the Angels' walk-off win over the Yankees in Anaheim, notching a hit for the sixth consecutive game. Moustakas has only gone three games this month without a hit and stands a good chance to keep that record going at some nice odds against an out-of-form New York team.

2. Mookie Betts (LAD) To Record an RBI

Frequency: 5 of last 6
Odds: +140

Mookie actually broke his five-game RBI streak in L.A's win over the Orioles last night, but he's still in good form and worth consideration when the Dodgers meet the O's again this evening. Tyler Wells will be the one on the mound for Baltimore, and while his 7-4 record on the year is impressive, he's not exactly stingy, giving up a run in 13 of his 16 starts this season. Betts is a huge threat as a lead off man, but also knows how to drive in his teammates.

3. Shohei Ohtani (LAA) To Hit a Home Run

Frequency: 4 of his last 5 games
Odds: +285

You don't even need to think this one through. Ohtani has roared to life over the past week with home runs in each of his last three games, and four out of his last five. Simply put, nobody can seem to stop this man. He does come up against Domingo German who just recently recorded a perfect game, but German will be dealing with a whole different level of perfection tonight.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
