Top MLB Betting Trends for Tuesday, August 15

1. Jorge Soler (MIA) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 12 of last 14 games
Odds: -165

We start our MLB trends parlay for Tuesday with a super hot Marlins slugger who will be licking his lips at his matchup tonight. Jorge Soler will be facing Houston's Cristian Javier, and in just two previous plate appearances he has two hits(!!!) and one home run. Soler has been unstoppable, with just two days in his last two weeks where he hasn't recorded a hit. Soler is the perfect player to get our trends parlay rocking and we're locking him in early.

2. Nick Castellanos (PHI) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 13 of last 14 games
Odds: -225

Next up steps Nick Castellanos, who is hitting like he's Superman right now. Castellanos has been a frequent target of our Home Run content lately, particularly the Round Robin, but he's been even more effective at just getting on-base. Tonight he faces Yusei Kikuchi from Toronto, and he will need to make his presence felt as he doesn't have a previous hit against him in three at-bats. Castellanos is on fire, and we are jumping right on board with the Phillies star.

3. George Springer (TOR) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 9 of last 10 games
Odds: -200

Last up is Toronto's George Springer, who is essentially a cheat code in the past 10 days. Springer has recorded a hit in 90% of his games over the last week and a half, and the oddsmakers are expecting him to keep this run going, as evidenced by the -200 odds. He has one hit in five previous at-bats against tonight's starter, Zach Wheeler. We love this play and when you add it to our other two legs, the result is a +248 MLB trends parlay. Let's rock!

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
