Top MLB Betting Trends for Thursday, July 27

1. Keibert Ruiz (WAS) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 10 of last 11 games
Odds: -200

Ruiz's season up until about two weeks ago was nothing special, but the hitter has since exploded to become something of a reliable hitter for the Nats. After going .193 in May and .222 in June, the catcher is up to .295 in the month of July and looks good to continue that form against a Mets team that has lost three of their last four games and look ordinary right now.

2. Josh Bell (CLE) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 9 of last 10 games
Odds: -185

Josh Bell has been completely on fire lately, registering a hit in 90% of his last 10 games. More importantly though, today he faces a pitcher he has absolutely feasted off over the course of his career. In 10 career at-bats against the White Sox's starter Dylan Cease, Bell is hitting .400 with three singles, a double and a walk. This is simply one of the best MLB prop bets on the board on Thursday's slate.

3. Francisco Alvarez (NYM) To Record an RBI

Frequency: 9 of last 18 games
Odds: +170

We're backing Francisco Alvarez to record an RBI tonight, as he has done in 50% of his last 18 games, an extended streak of hotness that we believe has a great chance to continue. Alvarez faces Washington's Josiah Gray tonight, and though they have only faced off for two plate appearances before, Alvarez has made the most of it with one hit in those two chances. Lock it in!

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
