Top MLB Betting Trends for Thursday, August 10

1. Michael Harris II (ATL) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 19 of last 21 games
Odds: -250

The Braves have won back to back contests this series against the Pirates, and they'll be looking for yet another this afternoon. Almost everybody on the team is hot right now, but the hottest of them all is Michael Harris. Atlanta's ninth hitter just keeps raking, as evidenced by his hit streak of 19 in his last 21 games. The Braves get a very appetizing pitching matchup today, more on that below.

2. Ronald Acuna Jr. (ATL) To Record an RBI

Frequency: 8 of last 12 games
Odds: +120

Next up is Acuna, who went viral the other night with a leadoff home run that looked like it came off a rocket launcher. Acuna has never lacked for power, and he is the perfect superstar at the top of a loaded Braves lineup, setting the tone game in and game out. With Harris getting on base before him, Acuna has had plenty of opportunities for runs batted in recently, and that should only continue this afternoon against Bailey Falter, who is 0-7 on the season with a 4.87 ERA.

3. Matt Olson (ATL) To Hit a Home Run

Frequency: 5 of last 10 games
Odds: +260

We're wrapping up today's trends parlay with the most powerful member of Atlanta's loaded lineup, Matt Olson. Handsome Matt Olson is on fire, homering in 50% of his last 10 games. Somehow, he hasn't yet had success against Bailey Falter, but they key word there is "yet". Falter often gives up hard contact, and Olson is the prime candidate to go yard today, as evidenced by his +260 odds making him the favorite Braves player to go deep by the sportsbooks. Lock it in and go Braves!

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
