Top MLB Betting Trends for Sunday, July 9

1. Javy Baez (DET) to Get an RBI

Frequency: 7 of last 19 games
Odds: +180

Javy is one of the most polarizing players in baseball, but when he gets hot, he gets real hot. One day before the all star break, we expect Baez to jump on a pitch and drive in a run, like he has in seven of his last 19 games. Chris Bassitt will get the start on the mound for the Blue Jays in this one, and while he was been pitching well, he does give up hits, allowing an average of just under five over his last three starts.

2. Jean Segura (MIA) to to Get a Hit

Frequency: 10 of last 12
Odds: -215

While Luis Arraez has been the shining light for the Marlins this season, vet Jean Segura has been quietly been putting in work, too. He's had a dominant weekend against the Phillies already, notching two hits apiece on Friday and Saturday. He'll be looking to keep his hot streak going with a matchup against starting Philadelphia ace Aaron Nola. Segura has a career .500 avg against Nola from six previous ABs.

3. J.P. Crawford (SEA) To Get a Hit

Frequency: 9 of last 9 games
Odds: -230

We had him here yesterday and we have him here again today. The lead-off man for the Mariners has been enjoying one of the best patches of form for the season, getting another hit against the Astros in a low scoring game on Saturday. He has a dream match up against Houston starter Brandon Beilak, a man he has a career .500 batting avg against from six previous career meetings.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
