Three MLB Trends You Need to Bet on Sunday, August 13

It's Sunday in the Majors with a big slate ahead of us as every team takes to the field. As always, we've gone digging for the MLB player prop trends that you should be betting on for Sunday, August 13, 2023. Today's edition of notable MLB trends features guys from baseball teams such as the Dodgers, Mariners, and Padres. A parlay of all of our top three trends combined would return odds of +941!

Using the information helps sports bettors place smarter bets on Major League Baseball today. To get these insights, we run over 10,000 simulations of every game to determine where the betting value lies and where the sportsbooks' odds are wrong - allowing you to bet with an edge. It's part AI and part machine learning, all designed to help the sports bettor profit from their MLB betting.

Our brand-new MLB Trends page is now live on Dimers.com as well, so you can scope out what our model is identifying all day, every day.

Top MLB Betting Trends for Sunday, August 13

1. Xander Bogaerts (SD) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 18 of last 22 games
Odds: -250

Bogaerts is out of his mind lately, with a base knock in an incredible 18 out of his last 22 games. Tonight he faces Arizona's Brandon Pfaadt for the first time in their careers, and with Bogaerts' form, the unfamiliarity should benefit the hot hitter without question. We're adding Bogaerts to our trends parlay without hesitation for Sunday.

2. Kike Hernandez (LAD) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 9 of last 11 games
Odds: -240

If you've been betting Hernandez hits over the last week and a half, you've been loving the results. As his batting average keeps climbing, the hits keep tallying and he's a consistent leg to rely on in our MLB trends parlays. We would be dumb not to include Hernandez today against the Rockies, as he has gotten a base knock in nine of his last 11 games. At -240 odds, this is one of our favorite parlay legs of the day.

3. Cal Raleigh (SEA) To Hit a HR

Frequency: 5 of last 11 games
Odds: +425

Since we played the first two legs safe today, we're going big on the third leg with the hottest home run hitter in the league. Cal Raleigh just keeps homering, having done so now in five of his last 11 contests. He's facing Kyle Bradish, and there's a history there as well, as Raleigh homered off Bradish once in four previous plate appearances. If he gets four cracks at it tonight, we're all over it. Add it to our trends parlay to juice up the odds!

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
