Top MLB Betting Trends for Saturday, July 8

1. Brett Baty (NYM) to Get a Hit

Frequency: 12 of last 15 games
Odds: -105

Brett Baty is on a quiet little tear for the Mets. He's picked up a hit in 12 of his last 15 games, notching 15 total hits in that span with four multi-hit performances. He's hitting .319 over that time period and is on a mini three-game hitting streak. He'll face Blake Snell, who's no easy target, but we'll gladly take near-even money on this 80% hit rate.

2. Luke Raley (TB) to Get an RBI

Frequency: 6 of last 8
Odds: +230

If you scrap his lone at-bat in last night's game, this prop has actually hit in 6 of his last 7, including a streak of five-straight games with an RBI. Raley and the Rays have no easy task against the Braves' Spencer Strider, but they are one of the top offenses in baseball and can score on anybody. Lean on Raley's recent form at great odds.

3. J.P. Crawford (SEA) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 8 of last 8 games
Odds: -205

Hot hitters are the best kind of hitters, and Crawford is as hot as the month of July. Eight-straight games with at least one knock have him tied with the third-longest current hit streak in MLB. He's picked up 12 hits in that span and though he'll also have a difficult matchup against Framber Valdez of the Astros, we just need one hit, and he's seeing at least 4 at-bats per game.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
