Top MLB Betting Trends for Saturday, July 22

1. William Contreras (MIL) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 13 of last 14 games
Odds: -265

He's hot and we're running it back. The only one who came through for us last night, the younger Contreras brother is on a nice streak, has a lone game in the month of July where he failed to record a knock coming on July 18th. We're not ones to shy away from good form here, so we're rolling with WC once again.

2. Josh Naylor (CLE) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 10 of last 11 games
Odds: -270

Believe it or not, Josh Naylor is one of the best hitters in baseball this season. His .312 average is good enough for seventh-best in the league and just .16 points away from likely NL MVP Ronald Acuna Jr in second place. He's picked up 21 hits in 14 games in the month of July, and the only reason he's not on an 11-game hitting streak is because he didn't get a knock is his lone at-bat against the Pirates on 7/19. Lock him in for Trend #2.

3. Alex Kirilloff (MIN) To Get an RBI

Frequency: 5 of last 6 games
Odds: +180

As usual, we like to find some streaky plus-money value for our third trend, and today we're going with Twins first baseman Alex Kirilloff. He has 31 RBI this season with 13 of them coming in his last six games. He's seeing the ball about as well as anyone as he's hit four home runs in the past week. Taking a Twins RBI prop comes with a bit of risk as they have MLB's highest strikeout total (1,009) but we're rolling with the results that have been working.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
