Top MLB Betting Trends for Saturday, July 1

1. Matt Olson (ATL) to Get an RBI

Frequency: 8 of last 11 games
Odds: +110

Matt Olson is raking. He's hitting .272 in June, picking up a hit in eight of his last ten games, and collecting an RBI in seven of those. He's ripping home runs left and right which also presents its own value, and in the last five games he's picked up an RBI he's gotten at least 2. He'd be the best player on half the teams in baseball and we're going to trust him to keep his hot streak alive.

2. Shohei Ohtani (LAA) to Get an RBI

Frequency: 9 of last 12
Odds: +120

Shocker, right? We weren't kidding when we said we'd be leaning on Shohei until he fades and that's not looking like it will be happening anytime soon. He's all but automatic, driving home at least one run in seven of his last eight games. He had 29 RBIs in June, averaging more than 1 per game. He's got a great matchup with against Arizona's Rynbe Nelson (4.97 ERA), who's allowed multiple runs in 11 of his 16 starts this year.

3. Cal Raleigh (SEA) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 8 of last 11 games
Odds: +100

Cal Raleigh has been one of the Mariners' more consistent hitters this season. He sports a .228 average but is getting enough looks at the plate to make up for it, seeing five at-bats four times in his past eight games. He's up against the Rays' Tyler Glasnow, who's been quite hittable in his return from Tommy John surgery. Glasnow's allowed at least four hits in five of his six starts this season. He is coming off his best start but that was against a middling Royals lineup.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
