Top MLB Betting Trends for Monday, July 31

1. Mike Moustakas (LAA) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 15 of last 16 games
Odds: -150

It's rare to get such nice odds for a hit on a guy who is quite clearly hot, but that's exactly what we've got with Mike Moustakas on Monday night against the Braves. The Angels hitter has been out of this world good, and at -150 odds for something he has done 15 out of the last 16 games, you have to take it. He'll take on Atlanta pitcher Charlie Morton tonight. Moustakas has three hits and a home run off our Morton in 12 career at-bats. We like his chances.

2. Keibert Ruiz (WAS) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 13 of last 14 games
Odds: -170

Ruiz is right on Moustakas' heels as far as hot hitters go, and he'll look to keep up his impeccable form Monday night against the Brewers. Ruiz will face Milwaukee's Corbin Burnes for the first time in their careers, and with how good he has been lately, the advantage has to go to Ruiz here. At -170 odds for something he has done in 13 of the last 14 games, it is one of the best value bets of the entire board today. Let it fly!

3. Kyle Schwarber (PHI) To Get an RBI

Frequency: 10 of last 15 games
Odds: +225

Kyle Schwarber is a frequent participant in our home run round robins, and while he let us down on the home run front yesterday, maybe we should all just start backing him to drive in runs instead. He has recorded an RBI in 66% of his last 15 games, and at +225 odds, this is simply incredibly value. Tonight he faces Miami starter Edward Cabrera, and Schwarber has a .333 OBP against Cabrera over nine plate appearances. We love this value here.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
