Top MLB Betting Trends for Monday, July 17

1. Adolis Garcia (TEX) To Record an RBI

Frequency: 5 of last 6 games
Odds: +175

Adolis Garcia has emerged as one of the best hitters in the MLB this season and he's powering his Rangers team to lofty heights. Either side of the All-Star break, Garcia has been critical for Texas' run offense, driving in runs in five of his last six games. The Rangers get a tough matchup against the Rays to start the week off, with their best pitcher in Shane McClanahan on the mound, but the slugger has been effective against lefties, batting at a better avg against them than right handers.

2. JD Martinez (LAD) To Record an RBI

Frequency: 5 of last 7
Odds: +135

Martinez came up empty on Sunday in a lacklustre Dodger loss against the Mets as a four-game RBI streak was broken, but that's not to say that the L.A man has lost any form. Martinez has been impactful on the scoreboard for the Dodgers over a decent stretch of games and goes into this series opener against the Orioles with a pitching matchup that can be exploited with Grayson Rodriguez on the bump. The ace has been horrible over his last five starts with an ERA of 11.14, allowing 26 ER over that time. While the streak was technically broken last night, this is a trend worth jumping back on.

3. Anthony Santander (BAL) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 8 of last 8 games
Odds: -250

The Orioles hitter has been enjoying a prolific run of form over the past week and a bit, capping off the weekend with a dinger last night against the Marlins. That's hits in eight of his last eight games, as well as RBIs in four of his last five. This man has been absolutely smoking balls and should get another decent look against the Dodgers tonight.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
