Top MLB Betting Trends for Friday, July 7

1. Michael Harris II (ATL) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 15 of last 18 games
Odds: -175

Michael Harris II has been one of the many bright spots for the loaded Atlanta Braves roster, and when it rains, it pours. As players like Ozzie Albies, Austin Riley, Matt Olson and others keep getting on base, it only gets easier for Harris II to keep the train rolling. We like his chances tonight, facing the Rays' Tyler Glasnow, and we're jumping on this for the first leg of our MLB Trends parlay.

2. Dansby Swanson (CHI) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 15 of last 20
Odds: -185

Dansby Swanson has become Mr. Reliable for the Cubbies lately, and tonight he will need to squash some demons of his own, as he faces Yankees starter Carlos Rodon. Swanson is more than capable (as proven by his stunning streak of hits in 15 of his last 20 games, but he is 0 for 5 as a hitter facing Rodon in his career. We like Swanson to put an end to that tonight, keeping his hot form rolling.

3. Shohei Ohtani (LAA) To Record an RBI

Frequency: 8 of last 13 games
Odds: +145

At a certain point, we need to start expecting the unexpected with Shohei Ohtani. His run this season has been an unprecedented dominance the likes of which Major League Baseball has never seen. With an RBI in eight of his last 13 games, getting Ohtani to drive in a run at +145 odds feels like a total steal. Until the books adjust, we will continue to take advantage.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
