Top MLB Betting Trends for Friday, July 21

1. William Contreras (MIL) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 12 of last 13 games
Odds: -210

We start off in Milwaukee where Brewer William Contreras will look to continue his hot form against one of the hottest teams in the land in the Braves. Contreras has been lights out for almost a month now, going hitless just one time in the month of July.

2. Luis Robert (CWS) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 15 of last 17 games
Odds: -225

Robert Jr. has emerged as one of the most exciting players in the MLB this season, and he's also on one of the hottest streaks. He was at his best again yesterday afternoon against the Mets, recording a hit for the third straight game of the series and fifth straight overall. The White Sox will head to Minnesota for the weekend as they meet Twins starting ace Joe Ryan on Friday. Ryan has got some solid numbers on the season but he is prone to give up hits, allowing an average of 5.3 over his last 10 starts.

3. Christian Yelich (MIL) To Get an RBI

Frequency: 5 of last 5 games
Odds: +170

The former NL MVP has been in a rich vein of form since returning from the all-star break, recording an RBI in five straight games, including three yesterday against the Phillies, thanks to a dinger. Coming up against the Braves in a new series tonight will be difficult, but Yelich will be blessed with a relatively nice pitching matchup against Michael Soroka. The 25-year-old Soroka spent three years out of the game with injury and will be making his fifth start of the year. Thus far the ace has been rusty and is absolutely vulnerable to a hot hitter such as Yelich.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
