Top MLB Betting Trends for Friday, July 14

1. Jose Abreu (HOU) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 11 of last 13 games
Odds: -185

Jose Abreu has been one of the bright spots for the Houston Astros this year, and when it rains, it pours. He's facing Shohei Ohtani tonight, which would be a scary thought if Abreu hasn't been fantastic against him over the course of their careers. He has four hits in ten at-bats, good for a .400 batting average, and we're jumping on this for the first leg of our MLB Trends parlay.

2. Bryce Harper (PHI) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 15 of last 21
Odds: -250

Bryce Harper is one of the biggest names in all of baseball, and for good reason. Harper is a superstar, and he is must-watch television every time he laces up his cleats. Tonight he faces San Diego's Yu Darvish, who he should be very familiar with as he has 15 career plate appearances against him, with three hits and two homers. We'll just take Harper to get a hit tonight.

3. Wilmer Flores (SF) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 9 of last 11 games
Odds: -250

For our third leg tonight, we are going back to the well with a hitter that has a familiar matchup against the pitcher he will face tonight. Flores, who was hot as can be before the break, has 17 career at-bats against Rich Hill, and is hitting .294 with five hits and a home run against him in his career. Flores is a perfect final leg, lock it in!

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
