Top MLB Betting Trends for Friday, August 25

1. Riley Greene (DET) To Record a Hit

Frequency: 17 of last 24 games
Odds: -167

He's not one of the biggest names in the game but he has simply been one of the most productive hitters in all of baseball for over a month now. The Tigers' Riley Greene has been as solid as solid can be, and if you look at our MLB Trends page, you'll see Greene with a huge hit streak. He faces Framber Valdez tonight, and with the way Greene is swinging the bat, we like his chances to get on base, especially since he has a .500 batting average off of Valdez in their careers.

2. Isaac Paredes (TB) To Record an RBI

Frequency: 8 of last 11 games
Odds: +180

Next we move from a current Tiger to a former Tiger as we lock in Isaac Paredes for the second leg. Paredes is as hot as Carpenter is, with a run batted in throughout eight of his last 11 games. He faces the Yankees' Gerrit Cole tonight, and Paredes has a .267 average in 15 at-bats over the course of their careers. We simply need him to make great contact and with the way the Rays' offense has been performing, he will have plenty of chances to record an RBI in tonight's game.

3. Cody Bellinger (CHC) To Record an RBI

Frequency: 14 of last 21 games
Odds: +155

For our last leg of Friday's trends parlay, we take a closer look at the star-powered Cody Bellinger. Bellinger is a big name and an even bigger bat, and in the heart of the Cubs' order, he constantly has opportunities to drive in runs. Tonight he faces the Pirates' Mitch Keller, who is always one of our favorite targets, and in their careers, Bellinger has a .500 batting average against the Pittsburgh pitcher. With RBIs in 66.7% of his last 21 games, this is just a phenomenal value bet at +155 odds. Pair them all together and we end up with a +1042 parlay!
