Three MLB Futures Bets to Make at the All-Star Break

The All-Star Break is a much needed moment for rest and relaxation for players all across Major League Baseball. But for bettors? It's a prime opportunity to find and bet the best values for the rest of the season. These are the three best MLB Futures bets you can make over All-Star week.

RELATED: Five MLB Props We Should Be Allowed to Bet On

1. Texas Rangers to Win the AL West (+130)

At the break, the Rangers are clinging to a narrow lead over the Houston Astros in the division. As two of our favorite bets to win the World Series, we expect this to be a hotly contested race the remainder of the year. But our model suggest there is value on one side, and that would be with the Texas Rangers.

DimersBOT gives Texas a 51.8% likelihood of taking home the division crown at the end of the year. This is the only Divisional bet you can make at plus money odds that has a greater than 50% chance of hitting, according to our model at the midway point of the season. We recommend jumping onboard, but we won't shy away from Houston either (more on that later).

2. Atlanta Braves to Win the National League (+160)

Next up, we have to find a way to bet the best team in baseball, the Atlanta Braves. Luckily we don't have to look too far. The Braves have the most wins in the Major Leagues at the break, and we don't think they are planning on slowing down anytime soon. While there isn't enough value betting Atlanta to win their division, we can find a great plus-money play by looking at Atlanta to win the American League pennant.

At a 33.2% probability to be the National League's representative in the World Series, Atlanta has the highest singular chance of any team in all of Major League Baseball to make it that far in the postseason. We can get them at +160 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook, which just feels like a steal given their performance in the first half.

3. Houston Astros to Win the World Series (+1000)

For our final play, we move to BetMGM, where you can find an insane value on the Houston Astros to win the World Series. We told you we weren't done with Houston yet, and while our model doesn't advise betting them to win their division, it does clearly identify Houston as the best play to win the whole damn thing.

Houston holds the second highest probability to win the World Series, at 15.9%, just 2.1% less than the favorite Atlanta Braves. But the difference in odds is remarkable, and that's where the value is for bettors. Instead of +375 odds like you can get for Atlanta, you can bet the Astros at an astronomical +1000 to win it all. Scoop it up while you still can!

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER.
