Three Late Slate NHL Bets You Need to Make on Monday Night
A week remains in the NHL regular season and although much of the playoff picture is locked up, there’s still plenty of betting action on the ice before the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Hopefully you’ve been cashing in some Bruins tickets along the way to their NHL-record 63 regular season victories.
Today we’re looking at three plays with the biggest edge in the late slate of games. Powered by our predictive analytics, we’ve identified where the sportsbooks are missing important value and are passing that information along to you.
RELATED: NHL Monday Best Bet of the Day
Predators vs. Flames – 9:30pm (EST)
The play: Predators Win (+185)
Two teams on the outside looking in meet at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary to kick off their final stretch of games. The Predators will try to steal one on the road and our model gives them a 38.6% probability to win outright. With a betting edge of 3.5% and +185 odds at DraftKings, this is one of the strongest plays in the late-night window. Plus, if you haven’t signed up yet at DraftKings Sportsbook, new users can earn $150 in bonuses from a $5 money line wager.
Kraken vs. Coyotes – 10:00pm (EST)
The play: Coyotes +1.5 (-120)
The NHL’s newest team is poised to make the playoffs in just their second season. Riding a four-game win streak, the Kraken head to Arizona to face the Coyotes for the third time in the past week, with Seattle taking both wins. The Coyotes aim to avoid the sweep and we’re seeing a 4.1% edge at -120 odds on BetMGM. Coupled with a 58.6% probability, consider the Coyotes to flip the script and keep a close one with the Kraken on Monday night. Additionally, new BetMGM users can score up to $1,000 in bonus bets if their first wager loses.
Canucks vs. Kings – 10:30pm (EST)
The play: Canucks +1.5 (-140)
In the midst of a three-game slide, the Los Angeles Kings play host to the Vancouver Canucks for Monday’s NHL nightcap. The Kings have locked down a playoff spot and have little to play for down the stretch. Sitting at a 2.7% edge over the book, this play also has one of the highest probabilities of any of our picks on the entire NHL slate at 61.1%. You’ll nab the best odds for this play at FanDuel, which is currently offering new users $150 in bonus bets off a $5 wager.
