Clemson Tigers vs. Florida State Seminoles

Another national championship contender that we're buying stock of is the Clemson Tigers. After a "down" year by Dabo Swinney's standards, Clemson is back with a vengeance. Sitting at 6-0 with an impressive 10-point win against NC State under their belt, the Tigers have been great on both sides of the ball.

This week, Clemson heads to Tallahassee to face a Florida State team that is one of the harder teams to get a read on in college football. They have won games they could have lost (LSU) and lost games they could have won (NC State). But they haven't shown they can keep up with a team that has the type of talent they'll see from Clemson offensively. We like the Tigers to pull away here.

USC Trojans vs. Utah Utes

Many experts predicted Utah would win the Pac-12 heading into the season, and to be fair there was a lot to like for the Utes in the offseason. After going toe to toe with Ohio State in the Rose Bowl, the Utes brought back a good amount of their team highlighted by quarterback Cam Rising. But the season hasn't gone to plan, and Utah sits at just 4-2 through the midway mark.

Lincoln Riley's USC Trojans are the most talented team on the west coast, if not in the entire country. Caleb Williams and Jordan Addison have not been stopped yet this season, and this team has passed a big test on the road already, defeating Oregon State in Corvallis three weeks ago. The better team is the underdog, so we'll take the points.
