North Carolina Tar Heels vs. Virginia Tech Hokies

This is the second week in a row that a UNC total opens up in the 50s. Stop me if you've heard this before, but the Tar Heels can't stop anyone! Last week, the lowly Notre Dame offense went into Chapel Hill and hung 45 points on the Heels' defense — and it did so with backup quarterback Drew Pyne.

Now, Virginia Tech has offensive hiccups of their own. The Hokies have scored 17, 27, 27 and 10 points in four games against unranked teams. But there is no better remedy for an offense stuck in the mud than playing the Tar Heels. And let's not forget that the North Carolina offense will put up points on its own. Mack Brown's group has single-handedly scored 56 or more points in a game twice already this season.

Kansas Jayhawks vs. Iowa State Cyclones

When will Kansas get some respect on its name? And no, this isn't basketball season. The AP Poll dissed the 4-0 Jayhawks this week, leaving them out of the Top 25. I expect that to be the last week this occurs this season, as the Jayhawks are home underdogs to a beatable Iowa State Cyclones team. 

Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels is truly one of the best quarterbacks in the country. With 15 total touchdowns on the year in four wins, he has proven capable of finding the end zone in the biggest moments when his team needs a big play. Iowa State hasn't impressed me much, with the team having lost to Baylor and just escaped in a 10-7 win against Iowa. Rock chalk.

Old Dominion Monarchs vs. Liberty Flames

Post-Malik Willis era Liberty has shown some firepower this season, taking Wake Forest to the wire and clinging to single-digit wins against UAB and Akron. But Old Dominion in S.B. Ballard stadium is a different animal.

The Monarchs are 2-0 at home this season, including a big opening-night win against Virginia Tech. They also went toe to toe with Virginia in a road game, and haven't shown themselves to be intimidated by Power Five programs, let alone a Liberty team that's missing some of the star power it had a season ago. You're getting a good amount of points here, especially considering we think the wrong team is favored.
