The fresh season of golf continues this week with the 2021-22 Sony Open on Thursday morning held at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii. As with every event on the golf schedule, we've got three outright winner picks, ranging from one of the favorites to some mega value!
We've gone through this week's Sony Open and found three guys that we like to win this week's golf tournament, varying from one of the top favorites, who still represents good value, down to some nice value on a couple of stars that look set for big weeks at longer odds! We also show you the best sportsbook promos to play.
After picking Garrick Higgo to win the Palmetto Championship at 40/1 last season and Xander to win gold at the Olympics, we're confident of another outright winner here at the Sony Open!
With crowds back and a host of big names out there, we're set for an awesome four days of golf in Hawaii ... and betting! As we do each and every tournament, we provide you with our best golf picks for outright winner, as well as some in-play picks throughout.
Let's get into our best bets for this week ⬇️
Best Golf Predictions
2021-22 Sony Open Best Pick
Hideki Matsuyama +1800
Bet $10, win $180 at Caesars
The 2021 Masters champion has played in five events so far this season, resulting in three Top-15s, including a win at the ZOZO Championship.
This kind of form is hard to ignore on a guy that is arguably the best golfer on paper in this week's event.
Now of course, this tournament won't be played on paper, but not to fear as he's made the cut in his last four attempts in this very tournament, with two Top-20 finishes amongst those.
Getting almost 20-1 on a guy that has the potential to blow the field away if he starts rolling putts makes Hideki our top pick this week.

2021-22 Sony Open Value Pick
Kevin Kisner +3500
Bet $10, win $350 at Caesars
If we count the QBE Shootout (we are) then Kevin Kisner has two Top-10 finishes already this season.
But rather than the unofficial team event, it's last week's result at the Sentry Tournament of Champions that shows the form of this guy.
Kis finished the week in T8 before watching his Dawgs secure the National Championship on Monday night.
Yep, it's been a great 7 days for Kisner, and it could become even better with a win here, which is far from out of the question when you consider his past results at the Sony (T4 in 2020 and 2017, T5 in 2016!).
And just quietly, he is my One & Done pick this week! Get involved with our season-long PGA picks contest here.

2021-22 Sony Open Dark Horse
Jason Kokrak +4000
Bet $40, win $400 at Caesars
Another guy who had a great result at last month's QBE Shootout (he and Kevin Na won it), Jason Kokrak is presenting a lot of value this week.
Even ignoring the result at QBE, Kokrak is one of the few guys with a win so far this season after taking out the Houston Open in November.
The 3-time PGA TOUR winner has made the cut in his last five attempts at this tournament, and should figure in the action late on Sunday.
