As each team is revealed in each region, we'll be updating this article live with key information around each matchup.
South Region
#1. Auburn vs. #16 Alabama State/Saint Francis
- The No. 1 overall seed in the South will await the winner of the #16 First Four matchup, and currently sit as a 13.7% probability to win the NCAAB Championship based on our pre-bracket probabilities
#2 Michigan State vs. #15 Bryant
- Bryant will have to contend with Michigan State's excellent shooting defense, allowing opponents to shoot just 46.1% from the floor (ranked 13th)
#3 Iowa State vs. #14 Lipscomb
- Iowa State owns the top-ranked defense in this region at #15 in the NCAA and entered Selection Sunday with a 2.2% championship probability from our model.
#4 Texas A&M vs. #13 Yale
#5 Michigan vs. #12 UC San Diego
#6 Ole Miss vs. #11 San Diego State/North Carolina
- The Rebels will also be awaiting the result of the First Four matchup between SDSU and UNC

#8. Louisville vs. #9 Creighton
East Region
#1 Duke vs. #16 American/Mount St. Mary's
- Duke remains our top probability to win the tournament at 15.2%, despite the injury to Cooper Flagg.
#2 Alabama vs. #15 Robert Morris
- Robert Morris had the third best ATS record this season at 25-8 while Alabama was just 19-14. Look for this one to be a close first-round matchup.
#3 Wisconsin vs. #14 Montana
- Wisconsin was a sleeper at +10000 some weeks ago before a sharp odds drop, and now have returned to that price point, with our 1.6% probability significant value (fair odds of +6175).
#4 Arizona vs. #13 Akron
#5 Oregon vs. #12 Liberty

- The third-straight #1 seed for Houston

- The Volunteers stunned Auburn in the SEC semifinal - could we see a rematch? Their sixth-ranked defense will be tough to beat.

#4 Purdue vs. #13 High Point
- This will be the first tournament appearance for High Point University.
#5 Clemson vs. #12 McNeese
#6 Illinois vs. #11 Texas/Xavier
- Illinois will await a key First Four matchup

- Gonzaga will take a top scoring offense into their matchup vs. the bulldogs.

#1 Florida vs. #16 Norfolk St

- The Big East Champs will face Omaha who are making their first-ever trip to the tournament.

#6 Missouri vs #11 Drake
- Mizzou enters with a top-ten scoring offense vs. a Drake team coming off a record number of wins for their program at 30-3 behind the #1 scoring defense.
#7 Kansas vs. #10 Arkansas
- The 35th-straight tournament for the Jayhawks
#8 UCONN vs. #9 Oklahoma
- A UConn team looking to chase a threepeat will face an Oklahoma squad that went 13-0 against non-conference opponents.
