PGA TOUR Golf Bets: the Memorial Tournament 3-Ball Picks and Parlay

The latest signature event of the 2024 PGA TOUR season is here, with the best golfers competing as we gear up for the next major, the U.S. Open.

Betting on winners and who will finish in the Top 5, 10 and 20 markets gets all the attention around golf tournaments, but betting on head-to-head matchups can be an equally lucrative and entertaining experience for golf bettors. For our model's best picks in those markets, check out our full Memorial Tournament presented by Workday Predictions, now exclusively part of Dimers Pro.

We have an in-house tool designed for pitting golfers against one another and simulating the results. We can see who will finish higher in their head-to-head matchup, either after Round 1 or over the course of the entire tournament.

With a handy "Fair Odds" to "Percentages" toggle, you can always check to see if there's value in any given matchup. We're switching gears slightly this week and going with 3-ball matchups rather than head-to-head, but we can use our tool just the same!

Our best bets are here to help with outright winner plays, as well as recommended Top-5, Top-10 and Top-20 picks. We're heading to Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, OH for the Memorial Tournament and a $20M purse on the line.

Make sure you visit Dimers all golf season long, where we'll be feeding you our trusted PGA best betson a weekly basis and see our full predictions for the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday.

These PGA predictions are sourced from our powerful predictive analytics model that has returned an 80-1 winner with Wyndham Clark at Pebble Beach in 2024, cashed our +627 parlay at The Masters, and called a Scottie Scheffler comeback win at +1000.

+1075 3-Ball Memorial Tournament Parlay on DraftKings

To make this parlay, we'll be using the 3-ball matchups available at DraftKings as they have our preferred options available. We'll enter golfers into our H2H Predictor in groups of 2, select the Tournament-long option, and see which golfer gets the advantage for the weekend. The golfer with the best chance to beat the other two gets our pick.

Leg 1: Scottie Scheffler to beat R. McIlroy & X. Schauffele (+100)

Always a good place to start with your favorite to win the whole tournament. Though Scheffler doesn't get an edge in his odds to win, he's our favorite by a full 10% over the next guy, one of his opponents here, Xander Schauffele. At -200 just to beat McIlroy, you're getting ridiculously better odds in this three-ball matchup by adding in an additional opponent who our model already projects Scheffler to beat.

He's the No. 1 in the world and should come into this one well-rested and hungry.

Leg 2: Viktor Hovland to beat M. Homa & T. Fleetwood (+150)

Next, we're backing the Norseman to beat a couple of guys who have disappointed us in recent weeks. The young gun has six career wins to his name already and while he's not had a remarkable year, he might just be turning it around. After a missed cut at the Masters, Hovland took a month of events off and returned with a T24 at Wells Fargo and 3rd-place finish at the PGA Championship. He won this event in a playoff last year, too.

He's +150 for a reason, but he's also the 5th-ranked golfer in the world for a reason, and it's because when he's dialed in, he can compete with the best on TOUR.

Leg 3: Collin Morikawa to beat P. Cantlay & L. Aberg (+135)

Our final leg is another golfer projected at the top of our leaderboard with the fourth-highest chance to win the Memorial. He's in about as good form as any golfer on TOUR, with one finished outside the Top 20 in his past six events, including four Top 10s and three Top 5s. He's shown up in the Majors proving he can compete with the toughest of fields.

Cantlay has had excellent history here with two wins, a 4th and T3 but has one Top 20 finish in his past seven events. Second-year pro Ludvig Aberg has had a great year, finishing outside the Top 20 just twice in his last nine events, and four times all year. He's coming off a missed cut at the PGA Championship and we'll back the veteran in strong form here with Morikawa.

Can I bet on golf with Dimers?

No. There’s no golf bet slip on our site because we don’t take any golf bets ourselves. We’re the friend who gives you the best golf picks and predictions then tells you where and how to get the best golf sign up offers at the sportsbooks, so you can throw your golf bets down. That’s it!

When you click on one of our buttons or links in our golf content, you’re whisked away to DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel, or one of the many other sportsbooks we work with.

Once you get there, you can join up to score a welcome bonus (up to $200!), and then get those golf bets down for yourself, but you’re betting on the golf with them, not us. Since you are never betting anything directly with us, we don’t have access to your personal information or sensitive financial info like credit card numbers.

It also means that despite our best efforts to confirm that a sports betting site still has that awesome golf sign up offer available, the best ones often disappear just as quickly as they appeared. We always take these offers down once we know they’re no longer available. We take our responsibility to provide up to date golf information very seriously.

Finally, Responsible Gambling is extremely important to us, so please remember that golf betting should be seen as a form of entertainment - adding to your enjoyment while watching from the course of the couch - not a side hustle or second income stream.

Dimers and golf betting

  • Dimers, and online sports betting, are not scams – golf betting has been legal since May 2018.
  • We give you the best golf picks and predictions, and tell you where to find the best sign up offers, but you don’t actually bet on golf with us.
  • We do not collect sportsbook sign up or credit card information.
  • We get a commission if you join a sportsbook through our golf content, buttons or links.
  • We’re always happy to help you troubleshoot any issues. Just ask!

Remember to please gamble responsibly. If you sense that you're taking your luck too far, know when to call it quits and don't be afraid to seek assistance. Keep in mind that gambling is all about having a fantastic experience! If you or someone you know is grappling with gambling issues, reach out to 1-800-GAMBLER for crisis counseling and support.
