PGA TOUR Golf Bets: CJ CUP Byron Nelson Head to Head Picks and Parlay

After a week off for the team-based Zurich Classic, we're looking to get back to our winning ways with a +544 Head-to-Head parlay at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson this weekend, built using our predictive analytics model.

Betting on winners and who will finish in the Top 5, 10 and 20 markets gets all the attention around golf tournaments, but betting on head-to-head matchups can be an equally lucrative and entertaining experience for golf bettors. For our model's best picks in those markets, check out our full CJ CUP Byron Nelson Predictions, now exclusively part of Dimers Pro.

We have an in-house tool designed for pitting golfers against one another and simulating the results. We can see who will finish higher in their head-to-head matchup, either after Round 1 or over the course of the entire tournament.

With a handy "Fair Odds" to "Percentages" toggle, you can always check to see if there's value in any given matchup.

CJ CUP Byron Nelson 2024 Golf Betting Preview

Our best bets are here to help with outright winner plays, as well as recommended Top-5, Top-10 and Top-20 picks.

Also, make sure you visit Dimers all golf season long, where we'll be feeding you our trusted PGA best betson a weekly basis. These PGA predictions are sourced from our powerful predictive analytics model that pulled off some big wins in 2023, returned an 80-1 winner with Wyndham Clark at Pebble Beach in 2024 and as mentioned, cashed our +627 parlay at The Masters, and called a Scottie Scheffler comeback win at +1000.

+544 Head-to-Head CJ CUP Byron Nelson Parlay

We were bored last week without a H2H parlay so we're excited to get back after it! Let's go for another winner with a competitive field that's lacking some of the biggest names on TOUR.

To make this parlay, we'll be using the Head-to-Head matchups available at DraftKings as they have our preferred options available. We'll enter both golfers into our H2H Predictor, select the Tournament-long option, and see which golfer gets the advantage for the weekend.

Leg 1: Stephan Jaeger to beat Min Woo Lee (-110)

Our first matchup is one that the books have down as a toss-up, but our model disagrees. Stephan Jaeger and Min Woo Lee both get odds of -110 on DraftKings in this head-to-head pairing, yet our model gives the German a 51.9% probability to win. While that may not sound significant, it's 8.9% greater than Lee.

A closer look at their tournament probabilities reveals that Jaeger has twice the chance to win the tournament compared to Lee based on our model's predictions, identifying a higher ceiling. He's battled cuts at the bigger tournaments, but has a win, two T3 and two T18 finishes this year, while Lee has one finish inside the Top 20, a T2 at the Cognizant Classic back in early March. Jaeger is 15th in SG: Total, while Lee is 115th.

Leg 2: Mark Hubbard to beat Seamus Power (-110)

Another toss-up matchup for the books that we find an advantage in, as our model give Mark Hubbard an 11.1% greater probability to finish higher than Power. Hubbard hasn't done a whole lot to separate himself as a true contender this season aside from a T4 at the rain-shortened AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but if you can call his game anything, it's consistent.

Except for his third-place finish at the team-based Zurich Classic last weekend, Hubbard has finished between T20 and T36 in five events this year, with four between T47 and T57, and hasn't missed a cut yet. Power has finished outside T60 three times and been cut twice in 11 events this year, and trails Hubbard significantly in virtually every SG metric (34th to 126th in Total).

Leg 3: Adam Schenk to beat Thomas Detry (-130)

The final leg of this parlay is our shortest odds but also the strongest win probability according to our model. Adam Schenk gets a 53.9% probability to best Thomas Detry over the course of the weekend.

After a few cuts early in the year, Schenk has strung together some quality performances, including a T19 at THE PLAYERS, before a T5 at the Valero Texas Open and a T12 at The Masters. Detry has two individual Top 10s this year but our model is giving a clear edge to Schenk in this tournament.

Can I bet on golf with Dimers?

No. There’s no golf bet slip on our site because we don’t take any golf bets ourselves. We’re the friend who gives you the best golf picks and predictions then tells you where and how to get the best golf sign up offers at the sportsbooks, so you can throw your golf bets down. That’s it!

When you click on one of our buttons or links in our golf content, you’re whisked away to DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel, or one of the many other sportsbooks we work with.

Once you get there, you can join up to score a welcome bonus (up to $200!), and then get those golf bets down for yourself, but you’re betting on the golf with them, not us. Since you are never betting anything directly with us, we don’t have access to your personal information or sensitive financial info like credit card numbers.

It also means that despite our best efforts to confirm that a sports betting site still has that awesome golf sign up offer available, the best ones often disappear just as quickly as they appeared. We always take these offers down once we know they’re no longer available. We take our responsibility to provide up to date golf information very seriously.

Finally, Responsible Gambling is extremely important to us, so please remember that golf betting should be seen as a form of entertainment - adding to your enjoyment while watching from the course of the couch - not a side hustle or second income stream.

Dimers and golf betting

  • Dimers, and online sports betting, are not scams – golf betting has been legal since May 2018.
  • We give you the best golf picks and predictions, and tell you where to find the best sign up offers, but you don’t actually bet on golf with us.
  • We do not collect sportsbook sign up or credit card information.
  • We get a commission if you join a sportsbook through our golf content, buttons or links.
  • We’re always happy to help you troubleshoot any issues. Just ask!

Remember to please gamble responsibly. If you sense that you're taking your luck too far, know when to call it quits and don't be afraid to seek assistance. Keep in mind that gambling is all about having a fantastic experience! If you or someone you know is grappling with gambling issues, reach out to 1-800-GAMBLER for crisis counseling and support.
