PGA TOUR Shane Lowry looks to secure a Top 10 spot in the FedExCup.

Time for our best golf bets of the week!

We're back from the Olympics and looking to keep our winning ways rolling. We were fresh off calling a +2500 outright winner with Davis Thompson at the John Deere Classicfor his first-ever win, before we predicted Xander Schauffele to win his second major at The Open and he delivered. We found a 4.5% edge on Scheffler to bring home the Gold and he went full-on Terminator mode to get it done.

While the Olympics are in the rearview, this next event is all about the FedExCup. After this weekend, only the Top 70 golfers will move on following the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina.

Our predictive analytics model has run 1000s of simulations for the Wyndham Championship, identifying value bets in the winner and placement markets. We're heading to Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, NC with a $7.9 million purse up for grabs.

2024 Wyndham Championship Best Bets

Shane Lowry to Win (+2500 on BetMGM)

Our first pick is our model's second-most likely winner of this event and one of just a handful of golfers making the turnaround from the Olympics.

Shane Lowry currently rounds out the Comcast Business TOUR Top 10 which means he'll split his share of a $20M prize pool if it stays that way. He's as motivated as can be.

He's secured 8 Top 20 finishes on TOUR, 6 of them in the Top 10 and half of those Top 5s. His lone win came at the Zurich Classic when he was paired with Rory McIlroy, which took place not far from Sedgefield Country Club.

At +2500, the books have the big Irishman at 3.9% to win. Against our 5.2% probability, his fair odds should be +1800 for a sizable edge.

He's got Top 5 (+550) and Top 10 (+300) value as well, at 18.6% and 29.4%, respectively.

Akshay Bhatia to Win (+3500 on BetMGM)

Things get interesting right around the Top 5 bubble. Three golfers with nearly identical win probabilities find themselves cluttered together, all at +3500 odds.

So, why Akshay Bhatia then?

For starters, of those three golfers (Bhatia, Rai, Bezuidenhout), our man has the most direct path into the Top 10 and a piece of the $20M bonus pool, so he's more motivated to finish as high as possible.

Additionally, if you start to venture into our Top5/10/20 projections, Bhatia consistently finds himself above the others, as high as third overall in the Top 20 projections, identifying a higher floor for the young lefty.

For +3500 at BetMGM, we're getting another great value with our fair odds at just +2800 based on our 3.4% probability.

Consider him at Top 5 for +800 at 14.8% as well.

Keegan Bradley to Win (+5000 on DraftKings)

Our third winner bet for the Wyndham Championship also finds himself within our Top 10 overall golfers and that's American and recently-named Ryder Cup captain, Keegan Bradley.

Near the Top 50 bubble, Bradley is looking to pick up points for the weeks to come. He won't finish outside the Top 70, so he's locked in to move on, but he'll want to close the gap on the Top 30 this week with the biggest golfers taking off.

He's still chasing a win this year but for the +5000 odds at DraftKings, you could do much worse when it comes to a little longshot. The pros say accuracy is key at Sedgefield and Bradley's driving efficiency is ranked within the Top 15 on TOUR. At 2.8%, we have his fair odds at just +3500.

You can also get an edge on Bradley for Top 5 (+1100) at 11.2% and Top 10 (+500) at 19.3%.

Mackenzie Hughes to Win (+8000 on BetMGM)

Our final pick of the weekend is on Canadian Mackenzie Hughes who sits right at the Top 50 bubble at 46th overall in the FedExCup standings. A strong outing this weekend would goa long way to securing him a spot two weeks from now.

Hughes has turned in three Top 10's this year and has back-to-back finished inside the Top 20. He's ranked 5th in SG: Putting but struggles with his drives. If he can take advantage of the shorter course, he'll be in position to maneuver the greens.

He gets a 1.8% probability to win and while that's not far off form the books' implied 1.2% probability, we have his fair price at +5500 while you can get him at +8000 on BetMGM. For additional context, he's just +6500 at DraftKings, showing you how good these odds really are.

Dimers' Expert Golf Picks and Predictions

As well as being your best source for PGA golf predictions, Dimers also has the latest golf news, golf predictions for every game, weekly golf rankings, and golf matchup H2H tool.

Can I bet on golf with Dimers?

No. There’s no golf bet slip on our site because we don’t take any golf bets ourselves. We’re the friend who gives you the best golf picks and predictions then tells you where and how to get the best golf sign up offers at the sportsbooks, so you can throw your golf bets down. That’s it!

When you click on one of our buttons or links in our golf content, you’re whisked away to DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel, or one of the many other sportsbooks we work with.

Once you get there, you can join up to score a welcome bonus (up to $200!), and then get those golf bets down for yourself, but you’re betting on the golf with them, not us. Since you are never betting anything directly with us, we don’t have access to your personal information or sensitive financial info like credit card numbers.

It also means that despite our best efforts to confirm that a sports betting site still has that awesome golf sign up offer available, the best ones often disappear just as quickly as they appeared. We always take these offers down once we know they’re no longer available. We take our responsibility to provide up to date golf information very seriously.

Finally, Responsible Gambling is extremely important to us, so please remember that golf betting should be seen as a form of entertainment - adding to your enjoyment while watching from the course of the couch - not a side hustle or second income stream.

If Dimers doesn't take golf bets, then how do you make money?

Whenever you join a sportsbook mentioned in our golf picks and predictions across the website, or use one of our promo codes, we get a small commission for referring you. Don’t worry, though, this doesn’t affect you in any way at all. That’s a fee the sportsbook pays us as a thank-you for sending another golf bettor their way.

We’re always happy to help our readers troubleshoot any problems. Start with our About Us or Contact Us and if that doesn’t work for you, then you can always send us an email at contact@dimers.com. We’ll do our best to help you figure it out.
