PGA Tour Golf Best Bets

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Viktor Hovland (+1200 at DraftKings

We haven't seen Hovland since he shot a -17 and tied for 18th place at the Sentry Tournament of Champions early in January. The 25-year-old was coming off a win at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas to start December. Now, we're hoping that Hovland's healthy and feeling good, as we love his chances to come through with a win at Pebble Beach.

Hovland played well when the U.S. Open took place at Pebble Beach in 2019. He finished tied for 12th in that event, and was the low amateur at that tournament. He was also the 2018 amateur champion at Pebble Beach.

These conditions just really suit his game nicely, as Hovland has no trouble playing through wind. He has also seemingly improved his scrambling game, which was one of his only weaknesses. With that said, we're expecting big things out of him moving forward.

According to our golf predictive analytics model, Viktor Hovland is a 10.8% chance to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a 33.4% chance to finish Top-5 and a 47.6% chance of finishing Top-10.

Matt Fitzpatrick (+1100 at FanDuel

In a weak field, it's hard not to back the best all-around golfer at these kind of odds. Our model gives him a great chance to get the job done this week, and it's really not too hard to find the reasons why.

Fitzpatrick is ranked 10th in the OWGR and he's ninth in the Strokes Gained World Rating (also from OWGR). That's the best ranking of anybody in this week's field and it's not like he hasn't performed well at Pebble Beach in the past. He finished tied for 12th at the U.S. Open here in 2019, and he also finished tied for sixth in this very tournament last year.

With no holes in his game, we expect Fitzpatrick to have no trouble navigating this golf course, even if the conditions end up being less than ideal.

According to our golf predictive analytics model, Matt Fitzpatrick is a 10.4% chance to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a 31.6% chance to finish Top-5 and a 46.3% chance of finishing Top-10.

Matt Kuchar (+3700 at DraftKings

Kuchar has done well on these types of greens in the past, and he is just one of the more reliable putters on tour, in general. That's a huge advantage for him heading into this event, as Pebble Beach has always been kind to guys that can confidently drain putts.

Kuchar might have been cut from this tournament in 2022, but it's just hard to justify not throwing a little timber on him at +3700. These odds are just outrageous for a player with his background and pedigree. This field is far too weak, and he is way too experienced.

According to our golf predictive analytics model, Matt Kuchar is a 3.1% chance to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a 12.9% chance to finish Top-5 and a 23.5% chance of finishing Top-10.
