+932 MLB Parlay Tonight - August 3, 2024

The strategy behind this parlay is simple - take a player featured in our Top 20 hit list *and* in our top overall home run hitters, and select them to get 2+ bases. This can be achieved by multiple hits or an extra-base hit. Advancing on the basepath via another player does not count.

Leg 1: Orlando Arcia 2+ Total Bases (+125)

It's not a question of "if" we will put a Braves hitter in this parlay, but a matter of "who."

DimersBOT is loving the Braves at the dish today, featuring their whole starting lineup in today's Top 20 overall hit probabilities. Out of those players, we have five in our HR list.

It's Orlando Arcia who gets the call from the BOT. We could go with the power hitters, and they're solid options, but we're going to back the guy who's on a 13-game hit streak, totaling 16 knocks over that span. He's hit 4 HR in his past 6 games and has an XBH or multiple hits in 6 games on this streak, five of them in his past six games. All 11 of his HR and 13 of his 19 doubles have come off righties which he'll face today.

He gets a big 83.4% hit probability to go along with a home run probability of 18.6%.

Leg 2: Corey Seager 2+ Total Bases (-105)

Next we'll look at Corey Seager who just clubbed a pair of dingers last night. 

Seager is heating up - yes, superstars sometimes get off to slow starts. He had his best stretch since May, raising his AVG, SLG and OBP to his season highs since the very start of the year.

He's up against Red Sox RHP Tanner Houck who primarily throws sinker/sweeper, two pitches Seager excels against.

He gets a 79.1% hit probability and a beefy 24.2% probability to go yard.

Leg 3: Royce Lewis 2+ Total Bases (+135)

We'll close it out with one of yesterday's Round Robin heroes, Royce Lewis. Despite injurie, Lewis has performed well this year hitting .286 with a 1.036 OPS.

He has 32 hits this year, 20 of them for extra bases. He'll match up against the White Sox best pitcher, Garrett Crochet tonight, but in limited play (33 AB), he's hit lefties well with a .364 average and 5 of his 12 knocks for extra bases.

Crochet is primarily a fastball pitcher, and Lewis has hit all pitches of that class pretty well this season. DimersBOT gives Lewis a 23.1% HR probability, a Top 10 value, and a 74.3% probability of a hit.
