MLB Prop Bets Parlay Tonight - April 18, 2024
As mentioned, we have just a two-game MLB slate and we'll be zeroing in on the Arizona Diamondbacks San Francisco Giants at 9:45PM ET.
You can find as many over 30 bets and props with an edge in tonight's games with Dimers Pro, so if you're not keen on this parlay, you're sure to find a value play that's right for you.
1. Logan Webb Over 4.5 Strikeouts
We start off with Giants starter Logan Webb to go over 4.5 strikeouts against the D-Backs. Webb cleared this mark in his first two starts but has gone under in his past two. He had nearly 200 strikeouts last season but his K rate and Chase % are down from last year.
While that seems like a concern, particularly against he lineup that strikes out the least in MLB, our model is projecting a strong probability of 66.0% for Webb to go over which gives us a substantial edge of 12.5%. Webb has excellent history against this Arizona lineup and here's how some of tonight's potential starters have fared against Webb in the past:
- Marte: 7 K in 21 PA
- Peterson: 4 K in 8 PA
- Suarez: 3 K in 7 PA
- Grichuk: 3 K in 10 PA

2. Ryne Nelson Over 4.5 Strikeouts
The next leg is the same bet on the other side, as we take Diamondbacks' starter Ryne Nelson to go over 4.5 strikeouts. Unlike Webb, Nelson's metrics are up from last season, drastically improving his K, Chase and Whiff percentages. He's gone over this number once in three starts with 7 Ks against the Braves, a team that ranks right alongside the Giants in Ks per game.
Nelson gets a 48.9% probability to go over, which while not nearly as strong as Webb, identifies a substantial edge of 5% as his odds are +138.
3. Patrick Bailey to Get a Hit
Our final leg is on Giants backstop Patrick Bailey to pick up a knock in this game. Bailey is hitting .286 this year and .303 off of righties like Nelson. He's hitting .292 against fastball-type pitches which are the primary weapons in Nelson's arsenal. While a small sample size, he's got 2 hits in 6 PAs against Nelson in the past and he gets a significant 65.9% probability of adding to that total tonight.

Dimers' Expert MLB Picks and Predictions
As well as being your best source for NBA predictions, Dimers also has the latest MLB news, MLB predictions for every game, weekly MLB best bets, and MLB props and MLB trends.
Can I bet on MLB with Dimers?
No. There’s no MLB bet slip on our site because we don’t take any MLB bets ourselves. We’re the friend who gives you the best MLB picks and predictions then tells you where and how to get the best MLB sign up offers at the sportsbooks, so you can throw your MLB bets down. That’s it!
When you click on one of our buttons or links in our NBA content, you’re whisked away to DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel, or one of the many other sportsbooks we work with.
Once you get there, you can join up to score a welcome bonus (up to $200!), and then get those MLB bets down for yourself, but you’re betting on the MLB with them, not us. Since you are never betting anything directly with us, we don’t have access to your personal information or sensitive financial info like credit card numbers.
It also means that despite our best efforts to confirm that a sports betting site still has that awesome NBA sign up offer available, the best ones often disappear just as quickly as they appeared. We always take these offers down once we know they’re no longer available. We take our responsibility to provide up to date NBA information very seriously.
Finally, Responsible Gambling is extremely important to us, so please remember that NBA betting should be seen as a form of entertainment - adding to your enjoyment while watching from the couch - not a side hustle or second income stream.
If Dimers doesn't take MLB bets, then how do you make money?
Whenever you join a sportsbook mentioned in our MLB picks and predictions across the website, or use one of our promo codes, we get a small commission for referring you. Don’t worry, though, this doesn’t affect you in any way at all. That’s a fee the sportsbook pays us as a thank-you for sending another MLB bettor their way.
We’re always happy to help our readers troubleshoot any problems. Start with our About Us or Contact Us and if that doesn’t work for you, then you can always send us an email at contact@dimers.com. We’ll do our best to help you figure it out.
