Maple Leafs vs. Panthers Best Bets
Thursday, May 4, 2023 - 7:00PM EST
PICK: Toronto Maple Leafs Win & Over 5.5 Goals (+120)
PICK: William Nylander Over 3.5 SOG (-106)
The Toronto maple leafs look to rebound after suffering a game one loss to the Florida Panthers tonight. Florida goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 34 saves as he backstopped the Panthers to an upset win on Tuesday night. Toronto finds themselves in familiar territory as they also lost game one to the lightning in the first round.
The Maple Leafs responded with a 7-3 game two win to tie that series. I think the maple leafs will be able to put the same kind of pressure on the Florida Panthers tonight as they did in Game 1. I like Toronto to win the game and I like the over. I don’t, however, like the individual prices of both pets so I’ll pair the Leafs money line with the over a 5.5 at a nice plus money price as I can see another 4-2 type of game.
I am also going to target a Shot on goal prop tonight in the person of William Nylander. The Toronto forward is coming off a 7 shot, 9 attempt performance in Game 1. During the playoffs, Willy is averaging 4.3 shots per game on 6.3 attempts per game. He has also hit this mark in 3 of Toronto’s 4 home playoff games this season. I’ll take Nylander to go over 3.5 shots on goal at a relatively cheap price.
BET: Toronto Maple Leafs Win & Over 5.5 Goals (+120), William Nylander Over 3.5 SOG (-106) with BetMGM.
