PICK: Dallas Stars Win/Over 4.5 (+125)
The Western Conference final shifts to the Lone Star State as the Dallas Stars host the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Stars lost each of the first two game in Vegas, both in overtime. Dallas was leading 2-1 late in Game 2 but a late turnover by Ryan Suter lead to the tying goal by Jonathan Marchessault.
Chandler Stephenson would eventually net the game winner in overtime. Dallas controlled most of the game but couldn’t hang on in the end.
I think we’ll see a different outcome tonight as the Stars return home as desperation is going to be the key word for the Stars.
Although Vegas has been a good road team in the playoffs and all year, Dallas has also been a good home team.
The Stars are 5-2 at home in the playoffs and they are outscoring their opponents by a 28-16 mark. Despite the Game 2 loss, Jake Oettinger has still been very good after losses this season.
The Dallas moneyline of -140 is a little too rich for me so I’ll combo the Stars and the Over 4.5, at plus money, as I can definitely see a 3-2 Dallas win.
