Titans vs. Colts

While it’s not as pronounced, this Colts team has actually looked a lot better over the last couple weeks. This team is top 5 in rush defense DVOA and are more equipped to mitigate Derrick Henry than a majority of teams. Shutting down Henry is one of the hardest things to do in the NFL but keeping him under 80 rush yards and making Tannehill win this game will be key.

Overall I’m expecting a fairly close game here between the Titans and Colts. Everyone is gonna see the Colts as favorites and run to the hot hand but I’ll trust them on the money-line here. I’m expecting a close game here but the Colts should get the job done against a red hot Titans team.

Buccaneers vs. Saints

This Bucs Saints clash looks to be a fascinating one and Sean Payton is too good to ignore as a home underdog in a divisional game. Since 2011, Sean Payton is 7-3 (70%) as a Home Underdog against the spread. An even more interesting stat, Payton is 22-13 (62.9%) with a rest disadvantage against the spread (best in the last 1- years) as the Saints are coming off of MNF. The Saints managed to beat TB twice in 2020 and I think this line being higher than +3 is pretty disrespectful to a Saints team ranked 7th in Weighted DVOA.

Cowboys vs. Vikings

Sunday Night Football is here and boy do we have a good matchup. The Minnesota Vikings are currently 3-point favorites over the Cowboys. While the Vikings initially opened as underdogs, the common theory is that Dak Prescott will be sat for this game and that's caused some extreme line movement. If you got the Vikings at -1.5 I think that was fine, but a lot of the value is sucked out if it at -3. I normally don't mind going to backup QB/s but Cooper Rush is actually a significant downgrade and not someone I'm going to trust to cover three. The best bet currently on the board is Vikings -3, but this line will continue to do weird things until news of Prescott is official - hold off on making the final call until we know for sure.
