Patriots vs. Vikings Betting Preview

The Patriots are coming off of an ugly win over the New York Jets, but their defense was great in that game and they'll now look to beat the Vikings. Bill Belichick actually said that New England used some of its bye week to get ahead for this one, so the Pats have been working extra hard to get prepared for this very matchup. And considering Belichick's ability to make game plans, you have to think that the extra time gives New England a slight edge here.

Minnesota was also badly exposed on both sides of the football in a blowout loss against the Dallas Cowboys last week, which will only give New England more ideas on how to win this game. The Patriots might not have the offensive personnel required to replicate what Dak Prescott and the Cowboys passing game did to the Vikings, but New England should be able to pound the rock with Rhamondre Stevenson here. The Pats will also feel decent about slowing down Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offense.

It should also be noted that New England is 8-1 against the spread in Weeks 10 through 13 since the start of the 2020-21 season. The Patriots won those games by an average of 16.0 points per game, showing that this is the time of year in which you can count on this group to get going.

Gobble, gobble! The fellas are back for a very special Thanksgiving edition of Prop or Chop!
