Philadelphia earned a 31-7 victory in that meeting with San Francisco, and the team will now face the Kansas City Chiefs at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona at 6:30PM ET on Sunday, February 12. Our model, which is backed by world-class artificial intelligence and accurately predicted the Eagles would beat the 49ers, has Philadelphia narrowly escaping with a 25-24 win over Kansas City. That would mark the second time since 2018 that the Eagles would be hoisting the most important trophy in all of sports. And the reality is that this shouldn’t be that surprising. Philadelphia has been the most dominant and well-balanced team in football this season, with the team fielding elite units on both offense and defense. And while Kansas City has a legend under center in Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts gives the Eagles a dual-threat playmaker that is similarly capable of lifting his team to great heights — and could be a good bet to be the Super Bowl LVII MVP.

For those that are looking to bet on the game — which is probably a majority of the people in the United States — that 25-24 predicted score is rather significant. If that were to be how the game played out, Philadelphia would win on the moneyline, Kansas City would cover the spread and the game would go Under the total. That last one might be a bit of surprise considering two elite offenses are now heading to Arizona, where the weather isn’t likely to negatively impact their performance. But our model likes this game to be close, and these big games tend to lean towards the low-scoring side.

We should mention that having two weeks off will allow Mahomes to get his sore ankle healthy, and there’s no discounting that. But the Eagles had the sixth-best defensive DVOA in the NFL this season, and the team is loaded with talent on the defensive side of the ball. They’ve given up just 14 points through two playoff games thus far. With that said, there should be a player capable of giving Mahomes trouble at every turn, and Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon will do everything he can to make the quarterback uncomfortable. It's also unclear how healthy the rest of the Chiefs are. They relied far too heavily on Marquez Valdes-Scantling last game. That's not a viable strategy moving forward.

This game would be a little different than the one that saw Philadelphia taking down the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII in 2018, as not many people had faith in a Nick Foles-led team dethroning Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. But this Eagles team does have that same edge and nastiness, and nobody is a better embodiment of that than head coach Nick Sirianni. Doug Pederson, who is a great head coach, was on the sidelines for Philadelphia the last time the team won the Super Bowl, but Sirianni is a different cat. He’s an offensive mastermind that likes to talk trash, and he tends to get just as hyped up as his players after big plays. He’ll be barking all night long, and our predictive analytics model foresees some Pizza Hut in the 41-year-old’s future.
