Day 11 - Chiefs, Ravens Averaging 11 Season Wins

The Chiefs and Ravens Win Total Projections

We looked at one aspect of the guide centered around season wins with Exact Win Projections. Now, we'll analyze our regular-season win totals, specifically each team's average result and the over/under probability for each.

To keep with the Day 11 theme, we'll highlight the two teams who average 11 regular-season wins in our projections - the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs.

While we project both of these teams for approximately 11 wins, 10.5 for Baltimore and 11.19 for Kansas City, there's one notable difference. The Ravens have a win total line set at 10.5 and the Chiefs at 11.5, meaning we project the chiefs to go Under and the Ravens to go over, though just barely.

At 51.08% for the Ravens to go over 10.5, this is the sharpest lines on the books for this whole market. No other team is as close to a 50/50 probability per our model.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, are a little further away, though in the opposite direction form their posted line of 11.5. They get a 55.08% probability to go under 11.5 wins, and that comes with a little edge, as our fair odds of -123 are shorter than the -105 on offer.
