New York Jets vs. Green Bay Packers - 1:00PM ET

Prior to this season, this game would have blowout written all over it. But the Jets are over .500 five weeks into the year, despite playing a relatively tough schedule thus far. And defensively, New York has a good shot at slowing down Green Bay, on paper. The Jets have a good defensive line and will have the option of selling out against Aaron Jones and a potent Packers running game. The reason for that is because New York has a much-improved secondary, where guys like Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed Jr. will like their chances against a lousy group of Packers receivers. 

New York also has a ton of juice on offense these days, with Breece Hall and Michael Carter looking like one of the best running back duos in the league. And the passing game is a lot more effective than it was last year, with Zach Wilson having made some small strides with a better receiving core around him. 

It's hard to go up against Aaron Rodgers with your own hard-earned money, but the Packers are just 2-3 against the spread this year. This isn't the same Green Bay team we've seen in recent seasons and the fact that we can still cover if the Packers win by a touchdown is excellent.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons - 1:00PM ET

"Maybe it's time for the oddsmakers to start giving the Falcons a little more respect?" That's what we wrote last week before Atlanta was robbed of the opportunity to beat Tampa Bay outright on a brutal roughing-the-passer call late in the fourth quarter. But the Falcons improved to 5-0 ATS on the year, and there's no reason to believe that they won't keep things within one score against the 49ers this week. 

Over the last three weeks, the Falcons have given up 23 or fewer points in all of their games and they have turned a corner on that side of the ball. They should be able to make life on Jimmy Garoppolo pretty difficult here, and we know the Atlanta offense can move the ball on anyone. This is just a very solid football team right now, and the lines continue to disrespect the work that Arthur Smith has done with this Falcons group. 

Also, under Smith, the Falcons are 4-0 ATS when coming off a loss by six or fewer points. They generally respond well to losing close games and we think there's a decent shot they win this one outright. However, we're playing it safe and taking the points.
