NFL 2021: NFC North team-by-team predictions, best bets, odds and picks

The NFC North is set to be one of the most intriguing divisions in the NFL in 2021. With that in mind, scroll down to see where we feel the value lies in terms of the best free NFL picks and predictions as we countdown to NFL Week 1.

The Packers absolutely dominated the division in 2020, finishing the season with a 13-3 record, with the Chicago Bears coming in next with an 8-8 record. But with a host or roster changes (and some big ones potentially on the way!) the race for the NFC North could be much tighter this time around.

Here are the NFL Futures bets we're throwing down for the NFC North ⏬

Chicago Bears

NFL Week 1 Matchup: Bears vs. Rams

Super Bowl 2021 Win Probability: 1.6%

Super Bowl 2021 Odds: +6500 (BetMGM)

The Bears started last season HOT, winning five of their first six before completely collapsing and finishing the season with an 8-8 record.

With the 2021 season right around the corner, we're expecting Chicago to play more like they did in the second half of last season, with the UNDER 7.5 wins our suggested bet. Sorry, Bears fans, we're taking an Over Under bet on them having a tough time of it - we're riding the UNDER!

Dimers' Suggested Bet:
UNDER 7.5 total wins (-115)

Detroit Lions

NFL Week 1 Matchup: 49ers vs. Lions

Super Bowl 2021 Win Probability: 0.5%

Super Bowl 2021 Odds: +25000 (BetMGM)

Detroit is entering this season as one of the teams most likely to have the worst record, with only the Texans ahead of (behind?) them.

With that in mind, we're taking them to also finish UNDER their wins total, and considering the odds are now down to -120, it seems the public agrees!

Dimers' Suggested Bet:
UNDER 5 total wins (-120)

Green Bay Packers

NFL Week 1 Matchup: Packers vs. Saints

Super Bowl 2021 Win Probability: 4.7%

Super Bowl 2021 Odds: +1700 (FanDuel)

So, this one had been bugging us all pre-season! It's very hard to place a bet either way on a team when their star quarterback was no certainty to be suiting up to throw more touchdowns in NFL Week 1.

But then as we went to post this taking the OVER 9.5 wins bet, it was all but confirmed that Aaron Rodgers would be remaining at Green Bay.

With Rodgers sticking around he, along with Davante Adams and Aaron Jones, should see the new wins total of 10 covered with relative ease.

Dimers' Suggested Bet:
OVER 10 total wins (-150)

Minnesota Vikings

NFL Week 1 Matchup: Vikings vs. Bengals

Super Bowl 2021 Win Probability: 1.9%

Super Bowl 2021 Odds: +5000 (BetMGM)

The NFC East aside, in 2020 most divisions should have two teams with 8+ wins each, especially since the NFL Schedule has every team playing 17 times.

The Vikings finished last season with a 7-9 record, so if they can add another win with that extra game, this bet would become a push, with every extra dub making us bettors look smarter and smarter!

Dimers' Suggested Bet:
OVER 8 total wins (-180)
