Best NBA Player Props Today

Detroit Pistons vs. Washington Wizards, 7:00PM ET

If you haven't watched Kristaps Porzingis play since he was traded to the Wizards, you probably don't know that he has completely rediscovered his game. The former Knicks lottery pick is comfortable within the flow of the Washington offense, and he's also locked in defensively again. It has been nice to see thus far, but we're still waiting on him to have a big game offensively. 

This could be the game where Porzingis finally breaks through. The Pistons are just 25th in defensive rating this season, so this isn't a basketball team that has been getting a lot of stops. Detroit also happens to play quite a few traditional big men at the center position, so Porzingis should have an advantage with his ability to move and create off the dribble.

Look for him to hit a couple of pick-and-pop threes, but don't be surprised if he makes some jumpers off the bounce on his way to at least 20 points. This is the top edge of the day in the NBA from our DimersBOT.

Dallas Mavericks vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 7:30PM ET

In 10,000 simulations of tonight's Mavericks-Pelicans game, Doncic averaged 1.7 steals per game. With that in mind, our DimersBOT loves the plus-money value on him to record at least two steals in this game. 

Doncic isn't known for his ability to play defense, but he had two steals against the Grizzlies in only 30 minutes of action last game. He also had a two-steal game in the preseason, so he's clearly being a bit more active with his hands — and it doesn't hurt that he's arguably in the best shape of his life right now. 

Doncic only had 20 multi-steal games last season, but our model likes him to have one tonight. And it's worth a shot at these odds.

Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns, 10:00PM ET

Chris Paul is only averaging 7.7 points per game this season, but that number is going to go to double digits eventually. The 37-year-old has something of a new role in the Suns offense, as he is playing off the ball a lot. That has resulted in a lot of open catch-and-shoot opportunities for Paul, who is shooting just 9.1% from deep early in the year. This is, however, a career 36.8% shooter from three, so he is going to start knocking them down with regularity. 

Look for him to begin trending upwards in this meeting with the Warriors tonight. The Suns are going to want to go out there and play a good game to prove to the world that they're still legit. They can't do that if Paul isn't himself, so we think it's worth backing him here. All it will take is a few made shots for him to get his confidence up. This total is too low.
