NBA Trade Deadline Odds: Which Players Will Be Traded By February 9, 2023?

The drama in the NBA is unmatched when compared to other professional sports leagues, and all eyes are on the trade deadline on Thursday, February 9. A lot of players are rumored to be on the move, with Phoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder looking like a lock to be dealt. And Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby also appears very likely to end up in a new situation. That's why the two of them are priced at -700 and -500 to be traded, respectively. With those odds being untouchable, keep reading to find out some of the players we can see moving at better odds. This NBA trade deadline might not be packed with action, but it won't be silent either.

NBA Trade Deadline Odds: Best Bets To Be Traded By February 9

Cam Reddish, New York Knicks

The Knicks traded for Reddish back in January of 2022, when New York sent Kevin Knox II and a draft pick to the Atlanta Hawks. Reddish, who has always has the talent and tools to be an effective two-way player, was viewed as a guy that might thrive in a new environment. However, things haven't worked out since he arrived in New York, so the team is apparently open to dealing him for a second-round pick or two entering the deadline.

The Knicks want to try and move Reddish to a situation that has more playing time for him, and they simply don't need to have him around the locker room as they continue to try and climb the Eastern Conference standings. With that said, back Reddish to be traded at -300 odds, even if it's a little juicy. There's motivation on both sides to get this deal done, and he's an intriguing enough talent for somebody to take a chance on him. New York might as well get whatever it can for the 23-year-old.

John Collins, Atlanta Hawks

There are rumors that the asking price for Collins has dropped recently, with the Hawks realizing that the fit might never truly be perfect. Collins is a good finisher around the basket, and he's also a solid pick-and-pop player. However, Atlanta is capable of sliding De'Andre Hunter to the power forward position without many issues. And the team is also interested in bringing in some veteran help to improve the vibe in the locker room — which has been one of the team's issues this season.

Collins is under contract on a relatively team-friendly deal for another two years, and he can likely help a lot of teams a lot more than he can help the Hawks. The Utah Jazz have supposedly been interested in him for quite some time, and it's just hard to envision the deadline coming and going without Atlanta trading him for something. The Hawks can likely get at least one first-round pick for the 25-year-old forward, and they might want to bite the bullet and do it. They've been mediocre all season long, so it's not like losing him costs them a shot at contending.

Saddiq Bey, Detroit Pistons

The Knicks apparently expressed interest in Bey earlier in the week, and that's one of the many teams that has inquired about the former Villanova star. Bey is a 23-year-old forward with good size and the ability to hit the three-ball consistently. That's somebody that is a lot more useful on a contender than a team like Detroit, which is a year or two away from being competitive.

The Pistons might find that they can use a pick a little more than they can Bey, who is going to need to get paid very soon. With that said, he's a guy that we think is worth betting on to get traded, as there's usually fire where there's smoke. And there has been a lot of smoke with Bey's name, so this is worth a shot at plus-money odds.
