Free NBA Picks For Thursday February 3, 2022

Timberwolves vs. Pistons, 7:00PM ET

The Wolves have been one of the most lethal offensive units in the league over the past five games - but they've also been one of the most relaxed teams on the defensive end. They average 120 points per game over that five-game span while giving up 117 to their opponents but it seems to be working out for them with some major scalps in Utah and Denver to add to their bow. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We're expecting another run-and-gun type game against the Pistons who have gone seven straight games of scoring 100+ points and should be able to put up a respectable score quite simply because Minnesota will allow them to.

BET: Total points OVER 225.5 (-110)

Bulls vs. Raptors, 7:30PM ET

This is going to be a damn good game. Both teams feel fairly evenly matched and are both in good form having each won four of their last five games, but we think this all comes down to the class of Chicago's star men in DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. You have to go all the way back to mid-January to find a game in which either guy didn't pour in 20 points in a game and they look ripe for yet another star performance against this Raptors team who they beat by 6 points only a week ago. In that game it was Nikola Vucevic who was able to adequately tame Pascal Siakam, limiting him to just 3-12 shooting while DeMar and Zach went to work on the offensive end with 29 and 23 points respectively. We'll take the points here.

BET: Bulls +3 (-110)

Lakers vs. Clippers, 10:00PM ET

Forgive me Father for I am about to sin again. I'm taking the Lakers and the points. I just can't resist a team that has the likes of Anthony Davis, Malik Monk and Russell Westbrook against the Clippers team who work hard but are in reality a .500 team also. The X-Factor here is Davis. He played a solid game against the Clips in early December, notching 27 points to go along with 10 rebounds and got to the free throw line 11 times. Westbrook is Westbrook, we know that; he can either have a great game or the worst game you've ever seen, but Davis is roaring back into form and should get the Lakers over the line against their city rivals.

BET: Lakers +3 (-110)
