Free NBA Picks For Thursday February 17, 2022

Heat vs. Hornets, 7:00PM ET

First up we've got the Hornets to cover against the Heat in Charlotte. 

Now, the home side have only won one of their last nine, but crazier things have happened as we approach the All-Star break and it's about time they snapped back into gear.

Regardless of the result here, the Heat will be more than satisfied as they enter the All-Star break, whereas the Hornets desperately need a big game to go into the week off with some positivity. And the fans will know it.

Take the home team to at least keep this one close, with the upset win certainly worth a sprinkle.

Wizards vs. Nets, 7:30PM ET

Yesterday we wrote about how bad the Knicks and Nets had been and thus were taking the underdog.

Now, we're doing similar as we actually go against the Brooklyn team that cashed for us at the +225 moneyline last night.

These two teams have the worst records against the spread in the league, at a 38.6% cover rate (Nets) and 39.3% (Wizards).

But with both teams having played last night, it's their spread records on zero days rest that have us liking the road team.

The Wizards are 3-3-1 ATS on no rest, whereas the Nets are a pitiful 1-7-1.

With Patty Mills, Seth Curry and LaMarcus Aldridge all north of 30, we think they will be looking forward to the break, seeing Kuz and Co. cover in this one.

76ers vs. Bucks, 8:30PM ET

The Sixers will be furious with themselves after being embarrassed by the Celtics in their last game, and what better way to bounce back than against Giannis and the Bucks?

Whilst we think home team will eventually secure the win, Philly won't let this margin get out of hand like the did on Tuesday night.
