Pistons vs. Pacers, 7:00PM (EST)

The Pistons are pretty awful. In the midst of a 12-game losing streak, that doesn't look like changing when they meet up with the Pacers in Indiana, but we think the -10 line may be a little too risky.

During this stretch, Detroit have been letting anyone and everyone eat, with each of those teams averaging 111 points per game. Even the Thunder, with the league's worst offense, managed to put 114 on them. In 12 of those games, the Pistons have clocked 100 points or more in 7 matches, which is why this one could go either way on both the spread and total.

The bet that makes the most sense here is for Indiana Wire-to-Wire (to lead at the end of each quarter). They've been starting games strong, outscoring their opponents by 5 points in first halves of their past 5 games. This is a great way to get a nice little boost on a traditional moneyline play.

Knicks vs. Rockets, 8:00PM (EST)

Oh man, who would want to pick this game? Oh, right. it's my job. 

The Rockets have lost a little of their momentum after that winning streak last week, coming back down to earth, losing three of their last four games including a bad beating at the hands of Cleveland last night as they dealt with injuries to key players Christian Wood and Eric Gordon.

Their statuses heading into this game against the Knicks is still uncertain at the time of publishing, but New York aren't without their own problems, battling through a COVID outbreak that has currently sidelined three of their players.

They've lost their past four games on the bounce and 8 of their last 10. This well and truly appears to be a war of attrition and my advice would be to expect the unexpected. The line looks a little too inflated for New York being where they are. We're taking the Rockets.

Wizards vs. Suns, 9:00PM (ET)

The Wizards are on the west coast and they are on a losing streak, losing their past three games while giving up an average of 118 points in that span. First quarters are a particular concern where they've only been able to put up an abysmal average of 20 points over their last five games.

You just can't have slow starts against a team like Phoenix who will put you to the sword from the get-go. Once again, this looks good for another Wire-to-Wire play with plus money on offer.
